as for KoS, for all I know, it might as well be permanent until you get some get of awesome rp reason to get it removed from you. I don't see why a lawful authority would remove a name from his "wanted" list unless proven false charges, or the suspect got arrested/killed.

A RP ban from liberty is not sanctionable and it will stay in place, you have been banned for your behavior towards the Navy and for attacking it, if you want to file a report, do so, the ban is still in place, be careful of what you do in RP in the future, as for the SA, they won't kill you unless you come to Liberty.


I am sorry, but i do not think and faction can make a " RP BAN " on anyone. If a faction like SA start killing out of RP and any of my 8 char's see it i will post a storm of screen's. Making an RP reason to kill him sure why not, but on a "RP" server you cannot just go out of RP to punish any person. That is for admins and admins only. NO FACTION owns liberty and can make their own rule's. If SA kill's ooRP that means every other person on the server has the exact same right to also play ooRP.
"monkey see monkey do" is what this whole thread is going to cause. And yes i am calling all involved monkey's since it seems to fit this situation.:rtfm:

calling us "monkey" won't make things go forward. I'm not part of SA or any liberty enforcement factions, but SA is the official liberty navy faction, and as such, does in RP, "own" the system.
Now, if said player is foolish enough to anger the liberty navy... "duh".
As such, SA killing a smuggler known to smuggle constantly, insult the navy, threaten of black marketing, etc, on a daily basis, really, can't be considered oorp...

I'm going to disagree on the making rules bit- they, being the official Liberty Navy, have the right to make the rules of Liberty. The penal code Praetyre wrote up is quite clear, and they followed it- for assaulting a naval officer and smuggling, the offender is to be killed on sight. Admins make rules to make everyone RP as opposed to PvP-whore, or cheat. Players make the RP, admins facilitate. They've said it before, and if necessary they'll say it again...

This is getting hot. If we could get a nice chubb mode, it would save on headaches...

Ryoken, get some things straight. Get the rebelling against authority bug out of your system.

You want to drift into lawful space in a quasi-lawful character, shoot up the members of the lawful faction there for whatever reason, and expect to be allowed to walk around unhindered there afterwards? Want to go outside, shoot at a police officer and expect to be able to just walk past them without getting arrested?

It's not an "RP Ban," it's the logical thing to do.

well, it's quite apparent that the only way out of this is going to be through RP.

So, navy, I'm going to change my ship designation, change my painted symbol, swap out my transponder, and alter my comm signatures. All of this is quite available on the black market of Sirius.

You cant KOS me if you dont know it's me, now can you? And until my new identity breaks the law or presents other due cause, there can be no attacking of my ship without it making liberty look very, very bad.
