As this has started with last update I have asked devs to have a look.
Also does this happen if you start a new account and make a new ship?
I created a new account and added one ship of mine on it, so i can test, then i found the same error happening
I was thinking with some friends on TS and we decided that we gonna test it in another way. So i set a char code and sent one
of my characters to a friend in Philippines and he logged in with the char on his account, so it worked with a lesser lag, but the lag was there
which was abnormal ( more than his usual lag) , So we decided to test it with another place in the world, So another friend from Portugal stepped in
and took one of my characters and tried it, So he got no lag at all !! and it was fine.
I provided on earlier replies, a screenshot for one of my characters, which show the increase of ping ONCE i log to the server
My only observation is that when i log to the server, some certain plugins or addons (i don't know) probably hook my IP for some tests etc.. and then
something strange happen. Maybe error, maybe opposite commands at same time, maybe something it don't like about my IP or connection or files etc.. , but
the error never happen when i am on any other servers. I play IL2 Sturmovik on many servers, and many of them in England, France and Germany, and i never have a problem
with the lag etc.. , My ping there is around 70-90 max
I even host a server for 25 players, and some of them connect on my server from the USA and from Australia .. They never get such lag connecting to my tiny connection!
I am seriously confused... if i know about freelancer servers, i would have launched a server and checked myself, but i am not that experienced.
Please put in consideration that i played on this server for ages, and i NEVER had the problem of lag, etc..
My normal ping is around 70-90 so my loss is ZERO and my lag usually never exceed 2%
Thanks for replying and i hope this can be fixed before my bases loose the rest of the remaining hull health and explode.
PS: I re installed a new copy of operating system on my computer, just to remove all other doubts, and i hope it will work although i doubt because its so obvious that the error coming from the server reacting to my characters OR the nodes of internet starting from European Union (after crossing the sea).
I saved all the data and files i need from my computer to my external hard drive and then, formatted the entire computer clean
the, i installed a new copy of my operating system and downloaded a new copy of the mod and installed it over a fresh copy of freelancer
I Joined the game and it seems the problem is vanished for now!
I have no idea what you guys as admin team were applying from features and scans on my characters but i think its working good so far..
Hopefully it will not show again anytime soon.
Re install of discovery and freelancer complete
So far, been about 30 minutes in game with several characters, and the error completely disappeared
It's getting me crazy, but at least it's working now lol
I will report if anything new happened so you guys can monitor and help
The error showed up again, after i closed the game and went for eating, then came back after 1 hour and logged in, then error show!
I am pulling all the hair above my head ! i don't understand
So i restarted the game and logged in a different character, then the error is GONE!
I don't understand!!!! pffft
now i have no idea what will happen when i switch to another character or leave and come back in few hours!
very annoying if i may add.
