Alright so, I never had any issues with lags at home, but today something strange is happening:

[29.01.2016 17:29:13] Ping: 61ms (Max: 1000ms) Fluct: 1ms Loss: 0% (Max: 70%) Lag: 96% (Max: 100%)

my question is what can cause 96% lag with 61ms ping and what I can do about it?

Can attest, my fluct spikes up stupidly the later I'm on.

did you actually experience anything or was anything seen from other people? The lag part of the data has never been exactly reliable.

Hmhmhm, yes, so today the lag is real - i had 215 ms instead of regular 60-80, so i can't even lurk with my Nammu. It's... Unusual, yeah

Yes I actually got some serious lags and it was noticed by other guys, aslo had a large delay with docking things, up to 15 seconds. It took 3 or 4 hours and now everything is alright it seems. I'm still clueless about the reasons to be honest, but yeah, "problem solved"™.

Thank you for answering @Alley, you are my greatest ally.

could have been a route you use to connect to disco overflowed by a ddos targeted at either us or something hosted in the same datacenter. glad to see it's solved though.

Yep when my fluct rose people bounced all over my screen and it was only on my side as the opponents were hitting me with ease.

I've noticed that I've somehow gained an extra 250 ping connecting to disco that's now consistent. Could be my ISP though as it jumps from 50 to 230 ping as I reach the global servers.

Something is still up, I just lost a faction member because of this. QQ if it's a DDOS than its lasting a LONG time.

If it really is something along the route, then it really hard to resolve and stepping to an ISP is the only actual way as far as I know.

Had this issue myself with the World of tanks servers for like +1 year. Eventually WarGaming had to pursuit the ISP to fix it.

so GG I guess?
