Moreso you need Clearance from a Fleet Admiral and the LSF Director/DepDirector and they can turn your request down at any time.
Even some LSF are turned down. OFFICIAL-LSF

The only time an Indie even comes close to Alaska is the Jumpgate, and that is usually when we have to muster a whole big fleet to ward off Nomads or something.

And also; I grow very tired of finding things in Zone-21 and then auto-shooting them down if I can. And then being complained that I had to warn them first. And they then proceed despite me saying that Its Zone-21 and all to just go and bash the Liberty Government wherever they go...
Its just wrong...

I'd like to do my job and know that I am helping my Government, not hurting it.

Sorry but that isnt acceptable for me. I'm an 'indie' LSF, and the entire RP behind my character is as a Z21 guard. I spend most of my time either at the alaska gate in NY, or on the other side of it, trying to stop players from getting through and taking care of nomads in the area.

EDIT:

I do agree to putting navy guard dreadnaughts on both sides of the gate though, that would solve most people trying to get through.

Kill the other side's jumphole. And put one in that goes to Iota, the Alaska end out in a corner somewhere. That way, Nomads can still get into Alaska, LSF can still get into Alaska, but you have no reason to just barge through there.

...

As far as I'm concerned that would be the solution.
Nice simple. And it stops the through-fare.

Maybe make an Iota System specifically for that purpose?

Thank you for bakin me up in this. Earlier today I was confronted //during a phone call so they had to wait// by a whole Liberty Force fleet(SA, LSF, maybe some LNS). Anywho I was on my way home (Via alaska as a osiris battleship) my RP reason was "I was fixing my communication device for my ship //AKA tag" which at this time was fixed. They didnt want to escort me but instead blow me to a pulp. So I fled, im sorry im good at PvP but not that good.

They said no one is allowed to get into Alaska. I was the order. My home connects to it what choice do I have. (Dont say the long way!) so yeh proving my point that order can go into Alaska since they have there own clearance.

Questions:
do we know for sure that the order has the code?
do we know that the BHG are using the Z21 gate to get to alaska? why not the jump holes?

However, jump holes in alaska makes sense, or why would you have nomads in there?
And about guarding it, why not ad some small patrols? If why can't smack up some battleships at the gate.

And for anyone who would want it closed, what would be the good RP reason? And I'd like to know where we are going to put the prisoners and the experimental shipyard?

Order should know the code. They stole a prototype from liberty Im sure that had the code on it. Since the man who owned it was of the Liberty High Command

1. JH and JG will never be removed

2. There will never be any Guard things in there because it would have an impact on the SP campaign...

3. We cannot put BS on both sides, because most smugglers are friendly to liberty (starting rep) and if we put guard BS, we get the same problem as n.2

4. BHG NPC should be removed, they have strictly nothing to do there in Alaska... it is a TOTALLY SECRET MILITARY SYSTEM!

5. Every intruder that dare to enter Alaska will be kill on sight, without even a word.

6. We usually let new players go inside the system to set up their characters.

7. Everyone must ask LSF or SA before entering in there

8. Order has a reason to be there since they think we are messing with nomad tech, (which is, by RP real), and that we are still infected. plus nomads are in this system.

9. If we see you in Alaska, and you manage to flee from us, the next time we see you, wherever you will be, we will kill you.

Am I Clear?

Are you so sure about this? In SP campaign your reputation is set using some kind of script for the missions (changes instantly when you start the campaign mission).

So if this changes also the guard rep it will work fine.. and it's only one mission that goes trough there and back.

But if it's hardcoded it's a problem yes.

3. Most are yes.... but still a BS there or at the minefield entrance (on the inside) makes much more sense than now when it's only 2 weapon platforms. It certainly won't hurt anything to have it there.

I see your point,

for n.2, I think it is all hardcoded... And guard rep was added in the mod, these are things we know nothing off... unless someone here has some modding knowledge like Igiss

for n.3, a BS there won't do anything since you'll be entering the area in cruise or you will quick dock... and bases cannot shoot CD, putting a npc BS there is not worth it too, since all our navy captain are suicidal lately.

It might not do anything for shooting them to pieces, but it certainly will feel much better in RP....

now when I fly into Zone 21 with few players on the server there is simply nothing, not even Navy NPC fighter patrols once I get inside.

And a stationary BS can kill fighter/bomber even when you quick dock the best you can... long term experience with Bretonia BS at the Leeds JG :)Unless you are quick on the shield/hull key.. you get wasted.
