Having requested 250,000 units of Synthetic Marijuana to be delivered to Gran Canaria, Ames Research Station has temporarily opened it's doors to everyone to deliver these as quickly as possible. Beware though, Police and Military may not look too kindly at drugs being shipped through their systems, but that is the price the Zoners of Gran Canaria are willing to pay to have that wondrous drug.

Anyways, I am rather disappointed and displeased that admins go for what looks like personal fun with simple-minded-buffed-trade event while not hosting event that has been requested on 2016-01-10 with minor story development results in mind and involving many factions.

Yeah... whilst alley did say that'd be handled by the devs, it does strike me as odd how they can go ahead with this and not quickly set up that.

Well I had assumed that Alley's response implied the devs were the ones who set these up, not the admins.
But seeing this is running that is not the case. It could be miscommunication on our part... but even still, the event we had organised was fully finished in terms of planning, and the devs already said they were on board with a Nauru docking ring months ago. With those factors in mind, I don't understand how beyond typing in a few values here and there in accordance to the event parameters with some RP sparkle we can't get the ball rolling for the Docking Ring Awakens. Then again, maybe it's the title's fault.

I have no problem with other events. It's great to see the plugin getting any use at all. But if we do this, can we pretty please do mine as well?

Yeah, but, Drobbe was back as admin for less than a week and he is hosting event. Core and Ageira started RP three months ago and event request was submitted two months ago. And admins are the ones who set up event parameters, not developers. So not sure what your one liner supposed to mean.
