They make up the bulk of conflicts. Like essential canon fodder. You're also making quite a blanket statement, believing that RP quality = ship class.

Well I have to agree there. I don't like that the war is over either, and you'd be enraged to hear about the pretty poorly-done steps that lead to it.

Because story advancement isn't a thing. Because this is a pvp server first and an RP server second. Because adding 2-3 systems to Gallia caused everyone to leave. Because banning people from the server even though they're not breaking any rules is a great policy to have. When I first joined I stuck to Pennsylvania. But guess what, after a few days, I got bored. I flew to Theta and bought an Eagle. I explored Kansas, I bought a ship and started mining in Omega 7. People aren't robots who stay in the one sector of space 24/7. It's human nature that they'll want to go out and see the rest of the mod, but instead of them being able to do that and learning how to roleplay and the lore of the universe, they get killed by some jackoff who doesn't care about roleplay or the server. They get angry and leave the server and don't come back. They're not given a chance to improve their play styles.
If you hate it here to much, why the hell are you here.
Cocacoladude actually seems like a relatively sane bloke, except that he's promoting (or perhaps de-promoting?) a product by his name. So if a sane person like him is doing -this- for the sake of war, maybe it is time to finally clash Gallia and Liberty in a direct confrontation?

I'm pretty much Perfect Peter.
I don't mean to imply RP=ship class. I mean to imply that the majority of individual who horde them are idiots.
And im sure i'd get pretty butthurt for the steps that led to this "peace" treaty.
Because I know its probably just some other jackass's attempt at hey look I can do story development! Even if it makes no god damn sense.
Checking out total time for the past month on order players though. Its really not that much.
Sucks that Isis is destroyed now though. That place was so much fun to mess around in.
Anyway im done with this thread til the next one gets moved to flood because everybody hates real Rheinlanders.

Actually it's the old story dev team that lead it through. It was handled pretty poorly; jump gates were forcefully blow up and factions were forced to RP with each other to bring about peace rather than choosing their own paths.
The time I link is only for the Order| official faction. There's also the O'Rhu| group which is lower down on that list. There is also an entire NPC indie faction as well. And as Reid says, it resets every month. Minor may be gone but Omicron Delta essentially took it's place and is the current hotspot for Omicron activity. If you want to relieve such experiences again, I'd suggest letting go of the Pennsylvania-crusade of yours and come play in the Omicrons instead.
I remember a time when silently farming for capital ships to use on players in fighters, complaining in out of roleplay about being killed by a pirate as a miner or trader, rule lawyering rules that aren't being broken along with threatening with reports
But now, these people are revered as Discovery's last hope... Where did everything go so wrong? How can you praise the presence of players who don't even follow the majority of the rules, just because they increase the server's online player count? Not like that matters much since they're sitting in Pennsylvania 95% of the time.
I wasn't going to post because I think arguing server semantics is pointless as everyone has their own idea of an ideal server environment, but I have to give my bro a one up on this. You can't in good consciousness endorse lack of roleplay on a hardcore roleplaying server.
This whole situation reminds me of the Bulgarian Sleeper Ship... (if you don't remember what I'm referring to, disregard this message and have a splendid day!~
