Not like that matters much since they're sitting in Pennsylvania 95% of the time.
I wasn't going to post because I think arguing server semantics is pointless as everyone has their own idea of an ideal server environment, but I have to give my bro a one up on this. You can't in good consciousness endorse lack of roleplay on a hardcore roleplaying server.

So it´s better to make up "King Rheinland" and go to New York or Pennsylvania. What a piece of roleplay this is...

The general opinion is completely whack.
My first day here I was kicked multiple times from the server by Agmen because I wasn't roleplaying. Guess what, people learn. Nobody's saying they're the last hope of Discovery, I'm saying that it's senseless to drive more people from the server just because you're sad that people are in Pennsylvania. It's never been a system high on the RP quality list, and people just accept that. How about actually teaching them instead of killing them senselessly.
And you think Discovery is a hardcore roleplaying server, that's funny.
Aye, strawman all you want. I was only tributing Joe. Guy was a total ass outside of the game but an amazing addition ingame. I don't recall a single bad experience either with him or against him. Saddens me to not have him around anymore.

Nah, Joe is a bro. If you acted like an idiot, he would treat you like an idiot. Maybe you being on the same side of King Rheinland has something to do with that

oh wow look it's a player complaining about how it was better in the past
featuring cliches such as "back in my day" and "things have gone downhill since i last played"
bonus phrase "you young'uns don't know how easy you have it" available for 20 credits
whoever could've anticipated such an unexpected occurance from generic gramps #58264
I'm afraid you're not the first in a long line of people sharing the rose-tinted glasses. Take your ticket, settle down and join the queue in an orderly fashion.

Time sure have changed. Nowadays I find myself getting yelled at by the newer admins for shooting down someone who doesn't say anything when being approached by an angry terrorist.

I'm all for trying, only rarely do I not get complete and total silence as an answer or a bunch of complaints about how it's against the rules what I'm doing. That said I do approach them in an in roleplay matter, and I notify apparent inexperienced players where advice is due as long as my patience allows it, but when the one guy that's been on this server for years even resorts to threatening you with reports, then there's a big issue going on around that system that's effectively a deathtrap for new players.
We both want these guys and gals to become favored community members, but giving them a safespace and tons of money is not the way to do it, regardless of how kind it is.

Yeah. A place where any out of roleplay message outside of private chats is against the rules can solidly be defined as hardcore roleplay, my man.

Wouldn't be the first time Rheinland had a separatist movement, eh?

Maybe...!
I'd love to keep talking to y'all but I simply don't have the luxury of wasting my free time on squabbling. I'll humor the new players and raise my bar of patience a tad and see if I can get some favorable reactions from them, hope you guys can keep a calm mind as well. <3 Cheers
