Minor Announcement - Junkers + PScrap

So due to the kindness of Impy and the Junker Marauders and their Official Faction Request, all Junkers hereby have a +1 mining bonus to Premium Scrap.

Now go mine, salvage stuff, ya know... do Junker things.

why is premium scrap drop so low? i get from 2 to 6 per shot,sometimes 10
are the fields depleted?(though the function was disabled..) or someone didnt added the bonus to JM ID?

Not sure, but it's correct server-side. JM| have a +1 bonus to PScrap, along with all Junkers.

I think it might have been better to give the official faction perk to the official faction only, at least from the start. The purpose behind the program was mainly to induce indies to give official factions a try. Now, whatever the inducement would have been, is lost.

I don't know myself since I rarely Junker these days but from what Impy has told me Pscrap was kind of bad before this perk, even with the recent changes (RIP original BALANCED Valetta 14k sell point >.>).

Personally, even though the point of a perk is to give benefits to an official faction, I think it's a good thing that Impy is using his perk to benefit his indies as well as the official faction. Imo faction leaders should be looking out for their indies and trying to help them whenever/wherever possible. I feel some official factions not only don't do this, but they refrain and almost distance themselves from their indiebase entirely.

Besides, JM still has a bunch of other perks that give inscentives to join. Even without, the faction itself offers fun group piracy oppertunities that an indie Junker may struggle to find on their own.

Then it shouldn't be an official faction perk, but a simple faction request to whomever is handling the mining part of the mod now. Shouldn't have to waste a perk for something that might be approved outside the Official Faction Perk program.

JM got another perk that was just for them as well, so an official perk was still given them.

The thought here though is that due to mining changes, as well as PScrap the main commodity that Junkers mine, they should all have that perk. As it is only a slight boost, we felt that all Junkers should have that benefit.
