From what I read of him over my time here, he's one of the most mature, at least when typing about important stuff. He might hold some views that are rather controversial (i.e. give Nomad indies caps) but he seems to be able to control himself even when getting flak from people and does not devolve into petty bickering. Most importantly, though, he does not simply argue for a position for the hell of it, but rather, he advances arguments in his favour, which, to me, signals that he is actually putting thought into what he's arguing for and believes to have come to the optimal conclusion.

The sum of this makes him, in my mind, an ideal candidate.
