ooRPly this should in future allow RM and BDM to attend on pews in Omicrons near connection to Rheinland (Rho, Delta, Lambda...and who knows, maybe they will raid Gamma one day too ) and thus give them more to do.

Its too much for Corsair tbh , RM/BDM raiding in gamma dosen't make sense. Also Corsair currently has huge enemies

About The Order we haven't raid or fight with them more then years , while @Pepe was in disco we raid in Mu in 2014 after then we never really visited in Mu nor any Corsair has interested I guess. Even those factions making allies with X_X its actually too much and kinda like ganking faction against Corsair & Corsair do not have a single ally in Omicron specially. but np np

Well with peace between Liberty and Rheinland signed and traditional Galia and Kusari good relations , it is only mater of time before Kusari allies with Galia , in which case Rheinland will have no choice but to assist against Galia , because if they allowe Bretonia and Liberty to be overpowered , Rheinland is certainly next , and we will have nice , all Sirius , war !

You're right. With that base sitting at the JH, Corsairs basically killed themselves. No sense whatsoever.

Short story is, re-work is needed on a lot of levels, be it player-base wise, story wise, system wise.

So was USA to Japan in WW2 , but they were still in attack range cause fleets/carriers can go faaaar .
So is Ile de France from London , but Galic players can still park near London for quick raids .
Also , in case of such war , Allies ( Admins/Developers ) can give Rheinlands base of operations close to front .
So , there is no any practical or RP reason why Rheinland cant go in war with Galia , also we only talk about possibilities here , don't mean it will happen .

There are two problems. inRP, the system has quite little importance to waste resources on conquering it back - mining fields are depleted for long time both inRP and ooRP, and apart from them there is nothing important in the system (again both from RP and ooRP perspective).

No matter if the system has resources or not, allowing a strong enemy to maintain bases one jump away from the capital system is bad. Especially if the enemy has the power to build and maintain its own fleet of capital ships. So Dresden is -very- important inRP.
