I think he just said that he can't play here because he might have difficulties to understand and speak English.

Anyway, this is a english speaking server. I think you'll have less luck getting a response through a protuguese thread than by a post in english in the help section, or a pm to an admin.

I talked with them and actually missioned with them a bit. They are from Portugal and none have english at a native level. But they were really into the rp and server.

The bans were frustrating to them and when they asked questions or made mistakes they got blasted with hostility and it was pretty discouraging to them.

They are pretty nice guys--wanted to run a Farmer's Alliance.

Amigo, assim que poss?vel eu vou tentar descobrir o que aconteceu, mas voc? deve entender que a l?ngua oficial do servidor ? o Ingl?s e espera-se que voc? seja capaz de se comunicar com os outros jogadores atrav?s dela. Voc? ter? problemas ao se comunicar com as outras pessoas se n?o conseguir usar a linguagem. Considerando que este ? um servidor de interpreta??o de pap?is, isso ? um s?rio problema.

Friend, as soon as I can I'll try and find out what happened to you, but you have to understand the official language in the server is English and it is expected of you to be able to communicate with the other players through it. You will have problems communicating with other people if you can't use the language. Considering this is a role playing server, it's a big problem.

EDIT: Just so I can tell him. Why was this guy banned anyway?

@Admins:

Do you guys have any particular take on this? I didn't find anything on this guy (well, I'm at work, so I can't really be blamed for not doing a thorough search on it should it be obvious). Well, I told him he'll have problems with the language barrier. Not sure there's much any of us can do about it, a good incentive to him to try and learn it.

Not that it's necessarily this guy's case. But I'm somewhat bothered by the general attitude Brazilians have on the Internet. Specially when it concerns using English as the communication language. Granted, it's a country in development and the majority of the people here didn't really have the opportunity to study the language (some just aren't interested in doing it), but that's no reason for you to disregard rules and guidelines left and right and think you can speak Portuguese everywhere you please and expect people to understand you. At least he's asked for help and admits his English sucks.:P

Poor guy.. I feel almost cruel killing him when he didn't respond long ago.. :(

As for the English.. God bless our school and all movies with subtitles! (Although movies
took major part in my learning :lol:)
