Destroyer Overhaul / Destroyer Special Torpedo Launcher

Destroyers are more like a light cruiser in the mod and they are way more better than Heavier Cruisers

How about making them real Destroyers like in Real life?

So killing a Destroyer is very hard if you are in Cruiser.
Destroyers should die to Cruisers
Destroyers have more survivability in Fleet Actions, they also have more survivability against Bombers
RL Destroyers also don't have Heavy Turrets only light turrets to destroy boats and aircrafts
but they are firing torps to kill bigger ships


However Destroyers have same firepower with some Cruisers, they can destroy most of the Cruisers and Battleships easly (sometimes you don't even take hull damage from Battleships) but with this idea, they have to come closer to fire torpedo and they not gona have huge firepower like Cruisers
So My suggestion is;

About Destroyers;
-Add new Special Torpedo Launcher to Destroyers
-Remove Cruiser Heavy Turrets from these ships and add 1 Torpedo Launcher;
*Thresher
*Fearless
*Hel
*Typhoon

-Scylla - Storta - Takeda - Crecy are classified as a Destroyer they also should carry a torpedo launcher but;
-Destroyers(Scylla-Storta-Takeda-Crecy) should carry x2 Heavy CR Turret Slot because their size is bigger and more armored however they shouldn't have same firepower with other Cruisers
-Destroyers(Scylla-Storta-Takeda-Crecy) should fire only x1 Heavy Turret to Backward and x2 to sides and front
-Change Crecy x1 Cruiser Heavy Turret to Special Torpedo Launcher slot (that is located front of the ship ye that slot, works like a FG and has very low arcs)
-Change Takeda's one of the x1 Heavy Turrets to Special Torpedo
-Remove x1 Heavy Turret from Scylla and Change x1 Heavy Turret to Special Torpedo Launcher Slot
-Change Storta's x1 Heavy Turret to Special Torpedo Launcher Slot
-Destroyers shouldn't mount Cruiser Turrets
-Destroyers should mount 3.03 Destroyer Turrets (just like the Outcast Destroyer Turret - Kusari Destroyer Turrets)
-Destroyers should able to use Pulse Cannons to deshield other ships quickly
-Current Destroyer thruster speed should be increased from 130 to 135 so they can stay away from Cruisers and get away from Cruisers
-Destroyers should have new shield called "Destroyer Shield" so they will became different class
-Reduce all Destroyer power core to 950.000 and recharge time to 60.000 so they can't use Mortars + Torpedo Launcher at the same time but heavier destroyer can use heavy turrets like Razors to defend themselves from Snubs or Gunboats also using Cerberus turret will eat all of your power very fast

About Special Torpedo Launcher
-Must be Unguided
-Must not have entity or object (whatever) like Battleship and Cruiser Missiles otherwise Unguided Torpedo can do massive damage to Vanilla Capital Ships
-Must have very slow projectile speed (around 200 or 300 so Battleships can dodge if BB don't pay attention it will die "Just like in RL")
-Must have 1K or 1.5K Range
-Must have Ammo limit (30 or 40 Ammo)
-Must have very high reload time (25 secs)
-Must deal very high damage (i was thinking around 500K or 750K)
-Must have no energy requirement to Launch
-Cannot be deflected by Flaks and Not destroyable

So What you guys think?

Raising proj speed to 550-600 for the special torp and 15 ammo with 20 sec would be better and 900k dmg. BS s can Dodge mortars, even cruiser mortars which are 900 ms. otherwise BS would be able to dodge like nothing.

In my opinion,... Destroyers (overall the rogue Scylla) its already too much overpowered, not need more improvements, it need a nerf!! hehehe.

yeah they are, thats why i created this thread making destroyers only good VS Battleships but they must die to Bombers and Cruisers

added another line to "about special torpedo launcher"

Torps shouldnt be deflected by Flaks ( it is not possible flak if torp has no object or entity anyway)

Cruisers will have no problem with dodging them cos 300M/s speed
BC's also will have no problem with dodging them
Light BB's can dodge them but if pilot don't pay attention it will get hit
Medium BB's also can dodge them but if pilot don't pay attention it will get hit
Heavy BB's and Dreadnoughts will eat most of the Torps however Dreadnought and Heavy BS firepower is too high for Dessies they can die easly cos they have to get too close to fire Torps

Arent snacs working like quantum torpedo?
If not you have guided nova torpedo.
Snacs more like dive bomb
why talking about snub weapons in this thread?

Destroyers are overpowered ships in the game, They have best survivability and best ships against any class ship
So best thing to do is seperate them from Cruisers
Having their own Destroyer weapons/Torpedo Launcher/Shields/Speed is the best thing to do

Actually this wouldn't be bad I was considering requesting Destroyer Torpedoes, giving that class a little life and different role. Could be cool!

I like the basic concept. Maybe we can even get the original size of the Takeda back? Maybe put a gunboat shield on it to compensate for the low size? Pretty please?

yeah would be awesome but GB also should get original size too otherwise Takeda and Ashikaga would have same size
Takeda will become real Torpedo Destroyer with this idea

if not

Takeda should have same size with Thresher
