Well how about "The Auxilia Coalition" then? Because at least that's alright, but as soon as you say "The Coalition" it already is referred to the Coalition from intro, which the SCRA are right now representing.
So yeah, The Auxilia Coalition and you're good to go.

Good idea. Initially I thought names as "Auxilia company" or "Auxilia Party" ecc ecc...
Yes, this is different enough. As a side note, I would guess that good words for units of snub and light crafts are 'wing' or 'squadron'.
Another suggestion from me is to switch from Freelancer to Bounty Hunters ID/IFF, as it suits your description just as good, but have more 'personality' to it than generic Freelancer.

The bounty hunters have some relations and they are friendly to core. For this I prefer Freelancer ID/IFF.
Regarding the "ranking", it doesn't exist! Each one flies with his ship without limits and conditions! If someone has a battle plan, say it! We are a venture company, a "unique character"'s group.
