There are many problems RP and OORP wise with Alaska that draws a lot of debate... keeps things interesting.

I want to know through a poll about how people would like to see the Alaska system enforcement either changed or parts of Alaska system itself changed. So here are my three questions with polls ^^.

Tenacity's Alaska 'debate' thread can be found here:
Zone 21 / Alaska rule Enforcement thread link

I am genuinely interested in your opinions and that is why I made this poll. Remember to post any more debates in Tenacity's very much alive thread, but wouldn't mind if they came here too.

EDIT: With the First poll they ALL include Liberty craft (minus police without permission) forgot to put that in.

Only LSF and Navy should be allowed in. I'm thinking a stationary Dreadnought should be put just inside Zone 21, or possibly right outside the entrance. Also, now that you mention the BH getting a base in there, I think it's a good idea.

My personal opinion is going RP wise.

Liberty Navy and LSF ONLY through Alaska gate. Think of Alaska as todays Area 51. Very hush-hush and should have extremely limited access. Even though I have an Order fighter and have 'attempted' to go through the gate, The Order pilots shouldn't be allowed through. I took a long route, the wrong one, but got to New Berlin. If I can survive through a Nomad City, you guys can.

I think Liberty Guards with Train Disruptors needs to be planed in Zone 21, to stop the smugglers. I've seen them, and can only tolerate them RP wise. Guard pilots in Avengers would give even cruisers a good run for their money.

I think all the Liberty NPC's in Alaska need to be Guards, it only makes sense really, Virginia isn't top secret, yet there are guards in there. Lets be realistic here!:rtfm:

I think it should be up to the factions to deal with the smugglers etc. No modding intervention or server rules. Let the Liberty forces actually deal with the problem themselves, instead of just doing it for them.
After all, a player Dreadnaught can be far more lethal than an NPC one.

voted : lock it for good...

factions inside should remain - cause they make sense.... mind, they all come from the minor side ( except the liberty forces )

i d add a jumphole from the navy guard system in the far lower left corner - so the navy can still get there

furthermore, - change all NPCs to guards, excluding nomads

Just LSF/LN for me.. but that includes indepedent LSF/LN

BS on both sides depending how it would mess SP.

BHG NPCs should out.

This could be done in any case.

Allowing BHG in there would be very RP, and a smart thing to do. Thats why they are there in the first place. They help Liberty fight The Order. They are paid by Liberty to do it, and are actual enemies of The Order, not just shooting them when paid to.

And I put more weapon platforms, but that AND Avenger squadrons would be good. I also put that they should be changed to guard, because it simply makes sense. From the news reports available after mission one it tells you that Zone-21 is off-limits completely, and King tells it to you on mission 3, so it makes sense for it to be guard and people can't get through easily. However, that would cause problems between the BHG and Guard ships.. Maybe make BHG neutral to Liberty Navy Guard...

Alaska should be lsf/ln only,
the bhg patrols only make sense if alaska has order npc patrols too. If not, than why should be the BHG there? they are not guards, or security staff. they are just hunting order ships.

guard BS on both side of the gates AND guard avenger patrols.

this is my opinion

all these options of locking, putting in dreadnoughts etc... you forget one key thing.

Alaska is needed for SP. some people who choose to play fl SP, with disco on (suicidal imo, but meh) will find it uberly hard or impossible, if you put guard npcs, or lock the jumpgate etc respectively. since igiss inteded disco to be a kind of sequel to fl, and, he (i think) he wanted to keep the systems that were used for SP same, i dont think any of this is possible

(correct me if im wrong)
