Transports already got nerfed. They're weak enough as they are and need no further changes.

Put your self in pirate place also , you rather have a good pew with transport then chase him for 10 k only for him to dock on base right before you finish him ? If transport don't have truster , but you also don't have heavy weapons , you cant kill him fast , and he cant escape and dock fast , so he will rater fight for his life and cargo , because now he has fair chance to win ! I'm sorry your 5ker is not able to fight back against a bomber, but that's how the game works. Transports can do very well against bombers, literally any transport with less than 3.6k cargo can beat a bomber 1v1, if you're good that is. Even battletransports can do well against bombers with no hellfires, and 5kers can survive for a solid amount of time before thrusting to the nearest base. Saying that bombers need to be nerfed is just plain stupid.

Last time i check , Official faction don't give you "perk" that you can call people stupid ! Chill out man before you get your self in to trouble , this is game , not RL .

Bombers are overpowered and that is fact , and discovery history shows that overpowered thing are soner or later nerfed .
You say that is how game works and i agree with that , that is how game work for NOW . But this is discussion tread , we discus new ideas and how game should work in future . (sun)

Yeah no. Bombers are not overpowered in any way. If your cap has Solaris then a single bomber will have a hard time going against the cap.
Not to mention Bombers are literal free blues for some* fighters.

*Skill mostly determines that, an experienced bomber may snac a fighter should he joust constantly.

Im in favor of removing thrusters from Ts.
Especially 5kers that are as big as battleships yet battleships dont have thrusters

Nova torpedo = 2 x 165.000 attack , 4200 range , guided , easily hits any transport or capitol , collateral damage to all equipment/weapon .
Transport turret = up to 12 x 800 attack , 800 range , not guided , cant hit anything , especially not fast moving bomber , and even if do hit is few times , bomber just move out rage until his shield restore .

Like i already say i can avoid pirates just fine by myself , i don't need escort .
Also i compare bomber and transport attack power , you quote me and talk about escorts ?

I guess as long as we are tossing out ridiculous ideas, how about this instead:

1: Require anyone who has a pirate character to have and play on a trader character. That way there are more traders in the end for other Pirates to attack.

2: Triple the amount for a LOLcap so Piracy doesn't seem like a good way to get one quickly to go swanning about in.

3: Buff LAWFUL NPCS in house systems so they can provide a challenge to pirates. You shouldn't be able to sit in a capital house system and pirate to your hearts content without any sort of challenge.

OR

You can make it balanced for both sides, and let the skill of the individual players determine the outcome....

Don't get me wrong, there are some good pirates out there, those are the fun ones to rp with.... but there are more bad ones out there that feel its beneath them to trade and that everyone else should support them in their bid to get XXXXXX.
