Today was a bit interesting. Went on a escort with APM-Sagittarius. Nice fellow, if slight big headed. Anyway, we went on a deuterium run from Deshima Station to Planet Gran Canera and back. Thought me a bit on how to escort people too, while we're at it. It was mostly quiet (surprisingly), but we almost got caught in Cali by some pirates. Lucky for us, they were busy with some poor smuck, so we made a clean break. Other than that, we made the run and back and nothing troubled us more. After taking a break, went out to Patrol Col, Cali, and Tex's for a bit, but nothing happened. Well, that's it for my report. I'll keep up with patrols in Liberty and send more reports later on.

Well, this is definitely a good news / bad news bounty report.
First, the good news. Working together, Special Agents LaRouche, Starr, and myself helped train Agents Denver and Ryans in California. We worked together and took out a Liberty Rogue ID'd fighter.
I ended up getting the coup de'grace on him, but that was just pure luck - one of our other agents would've got him if I didn't.
Now the bad news.
We're all pretty much going to be down for repairs for a few days. Seems that the rest of this guys buddies were over at Alcatraz base. I know there was at least one bomber, one Sabre, and I'm presuming at least one more fighter, along with an assortment of henchmen. They swarmed us - Felix got snookered quickly. Then Devil and I both went down to the old mine trick.
I woke up on Cali Minor in the hospital - I have no idea how Denver and Ryans fared, but I'm certain they didn't last long after that. I don't think we took any more of them out - it was WAY too confusing, having an 8 ship furball in an asteroid field, with assorted henchmen for good measure.
We should all be released over the next couple of days.
Agent DeVirgo, out

Discharged from hospital. Was shot down in a battle with [Maf] ships near Alcatraz, had to return to Denver. Still had some nanites left over from my treatment though, so they're cleaning up my injories. Should be back on duty soon.
I also have confirmation of said kill and scans, however I will not clutter the comms with excess material. I wish to focus more on the engagement at Alcatraz. Unfortunately the three S/D upon whose wing I had joined fell after a time, and only Denver and I remained. I picked up orders to hightail it on comms, but decided to stick with it until I at least emptied the Cannonball ammunition. I continued engaging "Nexx", but only brought his hull halfway down a few times, leaving him with a few bots, when I ran low on ammo. Coincidentally, my ammo counter hit 00 as Denver took a lethal shot--being now outnumbered three to one and lacking the ordnance to carry on, I hit the afterburn and came into Mojave hot, docking at Riverside before the Mafia members could catch up.
Unfortunately a loss today,
Fortunately my ship's still in one piece.
Ryans out.

Well an other quiet day in Bretonia. Toured all the usual fun stops in NL, Leeds and Cambridge. Spooted one unaligned alien organism smuggler in a priate train but he docked in the Cambridge resaerch station and stayed there. I continued on to check the jump holes in cambridge and found onyl your typical grunts.
On the way back ran into S/D-Menthe in his new light fighter and stopped to exchange reports. Good looking ship..bit small though. Parked at Cambridge for the rest of the day.
Other then that, not much to report except some major action in California, unfortunately I was quickly neutralized and was unable to take part in most of the fight.
Ryans out.

Max is in the hospital recovering from a sprained back due to ejecting into an asteroid field tonight. He's out cold.
I've some gun camera shots of the patrol available for proof when we get them developed - not much time or access to the right computer here. (I've got a splint on one arm myself.)
Felix, Devil, Vettel, and Ryans joined us on patrol in Cali. We were planning on leaving the Mafia alone this time.
Initially we ran into a Lane Hacker - Herlock - in a Slipstream near the Magellan JG. Vettel took him out.
Then we caught a cardi smuggler - Dario_Fo - right in front of LA. He had 750 units of Cardi onboard, and we were in the middle of him either dropping his cargo or just getting destroyed so we could collect THAT Liberty bounty when the another hacker - LH-Phate - decided to interfere. So the cardi smuggler made it away from us - and right into the arms of a Navy patrol.
We were working on Phate, and I have no idea what happened to him, when the Maf decided to jump into things. I saw Ryans get taken out, but Vettel took out their Agent_56. A navy pilot took out another Maf member, and it was down to Don.Bucelleto, who ran for it.
All involved gave chase, and Maf Nexx joined in the fray. It was at this point merely a matter of time before the Maf were destroyed - and they were almost done - when the Diffensora, an Outcast Destroyer, came in on the wrong side of things.
I know Felix, Devil, and the Memory were all taken out by either the remaining Maf pilots or the Destroyer, along with several Liberty Navy pilots as well.
If California is going to be this rough - and we're going to be running into a Falcata bomber in the hands of the head of the Maf - we're going to need some help over there.
One good thing - the recruits acquitted themselves very well in combat.

RE: Incident report
Message reads:
Well it was a quiet morning yet again in Bretonia so i decided to head over to Sheffield to give some of our Guard folks a hand with the locals so as to get into their good graces. Things were going pretty well and while making a run to clean out some hackers I got a call om my private channel for some assistance from the Liberty Navy. They wanted assistance with one Jesus.Herrera. He was apparently fleeing them and head into Cali and they wanted me to try to head him off from my end. I explained I was busy and two systems away and they came back with this
So I stopped what I was doing and headed over to Cali. Once I got there I did a quick sweep and saw no sign of him but something told me he had not left yet. Three LN folks headed into the systems and I told them to check over by the Cortez gate while I checked Magellan's. Still no sign. Then it hit me he was at Alcatraz. I headed there while the LN made their way to Cali minor. About 15 k from the asteriod field I spotted him and called it in.
We exchanged some witty banter and he wanted me to say hello to Ferral and Devil.Starr. Then it was on.
Another Hunter showed up in a gunboat but left after a minute. apparently got told to stand down. So me and Jesus exchange fire for a few minutes and I think I zigged when I should have zaaged cuase the next thing I knew I was waking up in the hospital at Sheffield
Not sure how many pieces The Rapier is in, may just have to buy a new Manta. Thankfully my escape pod ejected and all I sustained was a bump to the head that knocked me out. My bomber is here at Sheffield so I can use that. Need to wander down tot he ship bay and see if The Rapier is worth fixing. If not I'll be on the comms to the insurance folks getting the cash for a replacement. Thankfully I am already at Sheffield
Did not get a chance to scan Jesus so not sure what his load out was...what ever it is man he took me down fairly fast. Glad I was not in the bomber I would have lasted even less time. Well time for some grub and a trip tot he ship bay

Went with Vettel to investigate Lane Hackers in Magellan. Unfortunately, was quickly shot down near Freeport 4 and forced to return to Los Angeles.
Spotted a Cardamine smuggler by the name of AARRGG near Los Angeles, but he went out of range before I could get a picture of what he was hauling. Pursued in an effort to get another scan, but ran into Don Buccalleto near Riverside Station. I engaged but was again shot down and returned to LA. Retreated to Colorado, where I saw an Artifact smuggler near the Rio Grande, however, did not engage as there were no bounties on him that I was aware of. Returned to California, where I spotted AARRGG again near Los Angeles, however, he was carrying Side Arms and I had not captured evidence previously so all I could do was threaten him.
Tried unsuccessfully to solicit escort missions, then headed over to Caliornia Minor, and landed upon seeing nobody was there.
