I am actually pleasantly surprised that all of the people who were around for the cap8 and DPC thing are still present on Disco. I am glad that many people here know what kind of frackery I was a part of in the past. And not just the DPC, but all the subsequent stupidity from my side.

I am glad that this thread turned out to be filled with concerns about this decision. It means that I actually have something to prove in this position. That this is not as clear cut as "Well, of course he got admin, he has the youtube and tutorial and event thing going". It means that that alone is not going to be enough and it is a good thing.

For those of you who came out to shake your fist at me, hold that thought. I am very much inclined to prove you wrong.
_{And I promise I will keep server-crashing mistakes to a minimum.}




If anything, I also hope you realize that this is the point where I simply cannot go back to my regular nonsense. This position is an ultimatum as well. It is something that I was explained to -quite- well.

Uhm, seriously. As a long living member I can tell everyone, you did also great things, like hosting events on your Intel Atom Netbook with Dusties...(SCRA Civil War Event) Sometimes, you brought up some ideas and did funny things.

The Doj and DPC chapter is a dark chapter, also a lesson for all of us. We shouldn't forget it, also it proves a person can change and recover his reputation with hard work.

It amazes me that someone who produced YouTube videos on how to clone cap8's, used cheats/glitch hacks and at one point attempted to hold the server hostage gets greened no less than 24 months later.

Being a Disco player who as has spent many many hours RPing on the server and on the forums, Spazzy is the main reason I have moved on to other games. To many instances to recount that are sour. No enjoyment out of any interaction any of my characters have had with his.

Congratulations Spazzy, you have a lot of trust to still to earn back from many fellow DiscoFreaks out here. Remember that.
