Actually black background is really good because black is the easiest colour to design around and I would attribute to that many of the pretty cool looking transmission templates.

But is full css styling so much to ask for in my forum posts?! /s

Wouldn't be needed if the template looked good. And imagine the atrocities that could be commited with full CSS just to "troll"
