Matt Myer's hulking form mounts the podium, for once his usually jovial face a thunderhead. Rumors spoke of him having quite a temper on serious matters. He speaks, his voice quivering with rage. The CNN reporters record every word.

"I've recently been informed that ships containing false LPI IFFs, or in this case" he says, glancing down, "real ones..." his voice breaks a little.

A report moves to ask a question, but Matt silences him with a glance. "LPI-Colin.Guy, LPI-Judy.Jackson[S], LPI-Jordan.SweetTooth, and Ross.Polo (who was in a Lane Hacker Gunship!) were recently spotted in Tau 37, attacking Cardamine shipping. If an explanation is not given soon, they will be discharged from the LPI if they were already in, and Ross.Polo is demanded to sell the ship, and turn himself over to the LPI authorities, pending charges of impersonating an officer, and that's the least of it. All four of them are hereby under arrest."

He waddles off the podium, and away, amid barraging questions from the reporters.

I don't know who you are or why it concerns you but we was raiding Planet Malta. The pirates have attacked Liberty for too long so we made a stand and attacked Malta.

As for the ship and cardimine that I possessed, we stole Cardimine from the pirates. I myself only recently deflected to the Liberty Police Inc. from piracy. As soon as I have the money, I will change ships.

I see no reason for the LPI to be decommissioned and for me to be arrested just for attacking the outcast planet...

Officer Myers,

The only one of us 'Raiding' the planet was Ross Polo. The other three of us were going there to collect the long over-due bribe... umm, Shipping Fee that allowed us to turn a blind eye to the Cardamine whenever it passed into liberty. Wait... I wasn't supposed to mention that on an open channel, Was I?

We only took Mr. Polo along because he could guide us, as he had been there before. When we arrived, We started flying towards Planet Malta in Omicron Alpha, and he suddenly started shooting everything shouting "This is a Raid!!!". Neither Officer SweetTooth, nor I, fired a single shot. I believe the only shots that were fired by Officer Jackson were in self-defence and the defence of Mr. Polo, Who was under heavy fire. Officer SweetTooth and I quickly left the system, Returning to the Freeport in Tau-37 to await the others. Officer Jackson started returning soon after, But Mr. Polo remained in Omicron Alpha, attacking the Outcasts. At one point he even landed on Planet Malta and stole some Cardamine.

While we were waiting at the Freeport, We ran into a couple of Outcasts, Who respected the neutrality of the area and did not fire on us. We spoke to them, and they refused to pay the monthly fee, but we still did not open fire. After Mr. Polo returned, We started heading back to the Jump hole to get out of the system and head back to Liberty space. The outcasts were hot on his heels however and we very narrowly avoided having to eject. The other Officers and I made it through the Jump hole and headed back home, The rest of that trip rather uneventful. I do not know what happened to Mr. Polo after that, As we left the system before he did.

I assure that we meant no harm to anyone by going there, and we simply wanted to collect our fee, But Mr. Polo wanted more. We should never have brought him along, I am sure we could have found our way by ourselves and the assistance of the field manual and a few maps. Then we probably would not have had the problems that we did. If they had refused to pay us, We simply would have left and headed home without shooting everything in sight.

Ross Polo, this is the head honcho of the LPI! You show some respect. As it is, you're under arrest for impersonating an officer o' da law, then undergoing conduct unbeffiting an officer, THEN leading a group of rogue officers to hostile territory, need I go on? I want the lot o' you in my office for proper disciplinary action, if I don't just kick da lot o' ya out!

Bottom line: our ships never ever ever leave Liberty. Ever. Bringin' reproach on da good name o' da LPI like that is NOT accepted here.

Do you really expect me to surrender? I acctually turned to the lawful side from being a pirate.

Its not as it seems when we entered Omicron Alpha, we was spotted immediately and then flew to Malta. There we encountered an outcast which engaged us. I attacked in self defence and then a lot of Lane Hackers and other pirates came. We managed to beat them back so I decided to steal cardimine from Malta to teach the pirates a lesson. Then they regrouped and came for us again, torpedo'ing my gunship. I had to make a break for it and they were hot on my tail.

Also you accuse me of "impersonating an officer" when I joined the Police (OOC: i got police id and tag which makes me police but not with LPI) and destroyed pirates.

You now leave me no choice but to turn back to piracy and become a Lane Hacker...
