In retrospect I should have ordered you all to take shelter in your rooms until it was over. But at the time I was not aware that sleeping causes the maddened animals to disengage, so to speak.

Second Embark Note: We are implementing a new rule that in the beginning of every stream, we will be using debug mode to force-add two new members to the colony, thus allowing for the reserve list to go through a bit faster. Obviously this does mean that food is going to be an issue and the chance to lose someone will also be much greater. So bring on the chaos.
