Scimitar = Adv. Dagger, and yes, the Bundschuh NPCs fly Daggers here and there. Flying a Scimitar is basically flying a Dagger, just with the added plus of raping VHFs and Bombers. Although I think Loki does better than Scimitar...

Um... why? The NPCs use them. I don't really see any reason why the BU can't either.

I think this is nothing but a relic from vanilla, just as the IMG flying civil ships for example. They didnt have their own line of ships back then - but today, they do! Thats why I think we should dare to take a more progressive step towards RP and disco. =)

Thing is, I think they would rather use the hessian or highjacked police ships then the BWs, since they ain't a BW faction. In fact, they NEVER go to the borderworlds. Now don't get me wrong I'm not attempting to brickwall here and such, but I think it would be an improvement of RP if the BU (or any other Rheinland pirate facton;)) stick to Rheinland vessels.

I'd stick to BW, actually, and BW alone... they seem to be similar to Civilian ships for those on the other side of the law, really. The Hessian ships, however, seem exclusively Hessian.

I wouldn't. Info states the Bundschuh, since they ARE NOT PIRATES, survive from their alliance to the Hessians. I would assume that includes ships, since the Loki is sold on Bruschal.

The Scimitar is a bit ugly for my tastes unfortunately. Still, will work something out.

The BU and Hessians are pretty close allies and as there are Hessian ships sold on Bruchsal even, I'd say they could use them, but not solely.
I'd prefer to see the BU flying BW ships or even stolen Military ships before solely Hessian ships. Would feel like we are more Hessian than Bundschuh.

Much as stolen military ships would be fun, since the Wrath is better than the Odin, that might come off badly. Also, the RM does a damned good job protecting their stuff, and that would be less viable than Order flying Liberty Cruisers. Which gets sanctions regularly.

Note: Zapp's Wesley Richter is an exception here, but then again he was totally loyal (like all RM) until a NOMAD ARTIFACT made him otherwise. RM defecting is incredibly rare.



As for Borderworlds line, it's sold on our bases... like, the entire line (Falcata non-withstanding, but that's an Outcast ship) is sold on Bruschal or Bielefield. I'd say that indicates Igiss thinks its okay for us to use them. It also makes us unique from the Unioners, who are also Outcast/Corsair non-aligned and use civilian ships. I would expect a mix of Borderworlds and Hessian line ships, with more Lokis than Scimitars (since the Loki is only sold on Bruschal AFAIK) but more Sabres than Odins (since the Sabre is sold in Luneberg). My Bundschuh has Hessian ships because A) he used to be a Hessian, B) he helped test the Asgard line during development, and C) he still maintains good relations with a few higher ups in the Hessians. This will be more and more evident as I continue the RP.

tl;dr

No stolen Kriegsmarine ships please, but a mix of Hessian and BW ships makes sense.
