That guy lied, mon amie. Many French people are enjoying the game. They are good friends. Game managers do not care about where are we coming from.
Your ships were deleted, but some other ships were deleted too. They belonged to other players. There was nothing wrong with you. There was nothing wrong with other players too.
But, ship names were wrong. Game managers can't allow random names any more. They say ships must have roleplay names now, because this is roleplay server. That makes this server even better. We all renamed our ships, just like they are flying in real cosmos. If you renamed on time, your ships wouldn't be deleted.
More seriously, this is indeed a ridiculous claim. This is an international community, nobody really cares where you come from. Nationalist lunatics that attempt to bring this stuff here (like we had when the ukraine vs russia thing started) on disco are swiftly taken care of.

The only racism in this community is the very exaggerated display of Rheinland. However, that's not even bad racism. It's one of the most funny things I've seen so far. There is even a twitter account only for Rheinland memes.
Oh, and furry racism, but that's legit. So as long as you're not a french hedgehog, everything is fine if you'd start to play along the rules
