You are hurting Tau activity (and thereby yourself) by making your siege coincide with the Tau event.

I do not see how we're hurting our own activity considering Tau-44 event had us completely cut off. Multiple times I flew in the Taus and Coronado on my Outcast only to see CR keeping itself to T-44 and camping there for their own event versus GRN and nobody else. In fact the most frustrating instance was when I flew 5 systems to get to Coronado only to see them log off in Cortez and log back in on a different ship in T-44.

Maybe it would be smarter to hit the Gallic back while the fists are busy elsewhere, in the long run?

The stronger opponents during the attack on the Taus would be the Council/CR. Planning ahead in case they're victorious by going in to their current home and breaking a few eggs, while the rest of their eggs are jammed in to one basket is ensuring that there won't be too much of an enemy presence after the Tau battle, that the Maltese weren't allowed to participate in.

I could've used a better term. I'm very tired.

Actually very encouraging to know that. Quite some bullies, those Council/CR, kicking a poor little frog with glasses.

Think about it. Most of the Royal Navy would be focused on the Bretonian Frontline, not their rear in what they'd already consider controlled territory.

The siege is done in less than three hours (or within an hour, if the DPS is higher than shield+repair) and it is a singular event. The Tau-44 event chain doesn't run away, and the partaking people can relocate their ships in very short time.

Won't be excessively easy, after blowing up a POB, to unite when most of the Royal Navy returns victorious and focuses on where it's hurt. I'm not sure who's being divided in that case. You've got it planned out well, though. They aren't returning. Not in one piece at least.

It's because Sabah doesn't sell it. Sabah buys it.

Because it totally makes sense to leave your conquered butt unattended and open to any surprise abuse.

The Tau-44 event chain has been waiting for implementation ever since May, 2016, and has suffered several reschedules due to various unforeseen obstacles, such as the almost-wipe in December, orthodox christmas or the (semi-)annual Omicron drama. It's been "running away" for a while now and I'd be utterly grateful if we could finally get this done without any other randomness interrupting.

Nobody can force anyone to partake in it, though, and three hours of OC activity won't kill an event.

It isn't totally undefended, but they're not throwing walls of their front line warships at you. Hence why I used "Most of" not "All".

The Royal Navy is full of pride and wouldn't expect something they believed to have been mostly wiped out to mount a counter-attack. They'd be able to fight, but it's obvious that the end goal of the event is them losing, which means that they aren't entirely prepared for their conquered territory to be hit so hard.

Irply it makes zero sense to fly a cap fleet through the Tau warzone to Coronado to "secure trade route" when Tau zone is described as "really hot" during the event. It would just not happen, so don't try to justify it irply, seriously: that's ridiculous.

You are distracting from the actual flow of the story. And that's totally unnecessary in terms of gameplay. And that's what I feedbacked and asked why this is necessary if you could also just be the "real" opposing force, as at least quite a good portion of you also have GRNs, so you could participate in the event "as it was planned out".
