I have responded to every point made with a point, rather than with ad hominems like your above response.
Instead of this attack on me, why don't you actually address the points I made that no one has addressed?
Why are you claiming this is needed to squelch a problem that can't even be shown to exist in any quantity if at all?
Why are you targeting all indie cap ships instead of just the problem ones?
Since the problem players, if they exist at all, can be moderated without targeting all the indies, what's the real reason behind this digging for excuses to shoot people oorp?
One more thing, I'd like to start a clan for any cap ships under KOS orders in their original system, a rag tag group banding together to survive. Some of those the 101st or the RM (I see more pirates in New Berlin than the RM though) have falsely declared traitors and driven out of their homes.
Quote:Why are you claiming this is needed to squelch a problem that can't even be shown to exist in any quantity if at all?
the main problem, that is very common is that there are many players that buy cap ships (mostly the destroyer) and go around and use them in very ooRP ways, like sitting out side manhattan. now this policy wont get rid of the people already doing it, but it will and has limited the amount of newer ones from arising, by forcing them to RP slightly.
Quote:Why are you targeting all indie cap ships instead of just the problem ones?
They are not being targeted, all they are bing asked to do is register their destroyers, thats all and even if they dont, not much of a fuss is going rise over a destroyer. Now as for the BS and DN they are asked to submit their RP reason for wanting one, and if their approved they can have one with out us caring, and if their not approved and still buy one, they will be attacked when seen as per the faction's RP.

I use capitols to amphase what I am trying to say, you can;t hear the tone in my voice as I type so you lose a lot of the actualy communication that way... However this is massively irrelevant. He has complained and complained for a very long time. however he has achieved nothing, he has refused to respond to anything he can't argue with. Nothing anyone other than him has been accepted by him, nothing... I find that to be extremely annoying. Fundamental things had to be layed down and he still refuted them out of sheer blinding will to argue... how very obnoxious.
"He who establishes his argument by noise and command shows that his reason is weak." - Michel de Montaigne.
And you've answered your own question here; as you say that you use case to emphasise meaning. Meaning can be changed by emphasis on certain words. I trust I do not have to state examples.

I'll soon have an outcast destroyer for a start.
State your points out, in dot form so it's easier to see what they are. I'd really like to see them instead of having to read chunks of text.:)

My arguement has been both coherent and worthwhile. I don't use capitols for adding loudness and I find your use of a Montaigne quote to be a tad patronising. I use capitol letters to put emphasis on a point. The main thrust of my arguement if you will. In real life should you ever hear me, I will never raise my voice except when in a noisy environment.
I have found Akumabitos methods of arguement to be lacking in reason almost entirely, this has admittedly frustrated me, as I'm sure it would anyone who loves a good debate.
1. This is not about indy vs faction.
2. I have offered to help people write RP for their battleships should they need it.
3. I like seeing friendly well RP'd capships around, both form the winning a fight perspective and from the good rp point of veiw.
4. I want to promote good rp.
5. None of these things have been satifactoraly addressed by Akumabito, who has instead blindly ignored most of the actual words I have writen here, and in most cases attempted to twist them to his own purposes so he can salvage some dignity form a lost arguement.
6. The RM, KNF and liberty people have been doing this for a long time. We are the first criminal faction to attempt it, this seems to be the cause of everyones angst.
7. The outcasts have an organised naval force, we must therefore reflect this with our RP.
8. We offer people a chance to fly the ship they want to, that is a hell of a lot more than those folks in Rhienland do.
9. Infact we actively promote the existance of well RP'd capships while minimising the the impact that out of roleplay individuals have on the game as a whole.
10. Shunting people whos roleplay is non existant around will eventualy work, as they will have nowhere to go and cap-spam left in the end, and will either roleplay to earn the ship, or stop cap-spamming
11. It is really easy to get your ship registered with us if you want it to be. We have to take a blanket measure like this because of the scale of the problem. We are not 'targeting' anyone. There is no discrimination. Infact we have the very same proceedures with our own capships in the faction.
Is that clear enough for you?
Edit: If you want examples of the problem we face then I could find the screenie I have of no less than three OC dessies sitting over Manhatten all with Rhienland type names silently killing any undocking lawful and saying "lool" ever time they get a kill.
Or how about the report I filed on one particular outcast tagged and ID'd player who blew up my cardimine filled, smuggler ID'd, Pirate train right over malta without a word said, while I was chatting amiably and in roleplay with a very high ranking outcast who I was also in a skype chat with.
Or the OC ID and tag dessie that killed my lvl 5 merc character with a civvy ID before I had put any cash on it.
Does that illustrate the problem for you? All of that has happened to me ALONE! The Outcast faction members, such as myself, get almost weekly calls to reign in the people who do this stuff as we are supposed to represent the outcast hierachy. When we try to do so we get complaint from people who haven't even seen the problem and as far as I am aware don't have an outcast character (if any of you do I would like to know who they are, just for the sake of seeing how you perceive the Outcasts and would like to have them RP'd). I think that this arguement is now just flogging the dead horse and I hope that my above post puts the damn thing in its grave once and for all. The arguement became pointless a long time ago now. I am only carrying on because I still see no reason in the arguements that are countering me.
Outcast destroyer - HUGE.. like a small city. Massive strategic mobile base. It would certainly not be in the interests of the 101st or RoS to have it fall into the hands of a non -approved entity.
You want one. in your argument you have full right to it. I agree. Your RP and argument is good enough in my opinion for you to procure such a ship by whatever means you justify.
You have achieved your goal. Well done.
now the Rp continues.
the 101st and RoS demand the return of said property.
Their RP justifies this.
Submit and you will be shown grace. Resist and you are a KoS target.
There is no reasoning perception.
Logic dictates that ooc or Rp wise you have made an enemy of the major Outcast powers and you will have to bare that cross or met their terms.
I'd like to add to the point where the BLS have in-RP rights to beat up on non-them cardamine shipping. Same idea, if you don't like how they are beating on you, who do you take it up with? RP a rogue Outcast group not liked by the major military forces in the Outcasts. You'll still be able to dock on everything outside of Omicron-85, you just have to watch your step. In my opinion that makes for MORE interesting RP than not having this.

This would be like a paramilitary group consisting of British, Russian and Saudi Arabian civilian ex-pats banding together in aircraft carriers because their governments wouldn't let them have access to military hardware.
How about... dun dun dun... you register your ship like everyone else?

Not really, it would be more like the blood dragons, a government in exile, except not as xenophobic and willing to start banding with other exiles.
With the combines knowledge and numbers they could operate off of a zoner planet, maybe primus or the robot planet, and work to overthrow the dictators in their home systems.

Makes sense to me.
No, it isn't. Blood Dragons didn't leavve because they weren't allowed battleships. They left because their Shogun was kicked out. Different altogether.
This sounds like capwhores that are too lazy to register a ship.

Malta has Italian, British and Arabic influences. Where'd you pull Russian from?
