But not if there's no other way to access this stuff. Currently, you can only get sci data through PvE. We used to have PvE with Nomads, Infected, even pirates. PvE that made sense for the area of space we were in.

Now we get the Cult shambles which is a powergame legitimised only by the fact it was implemented. There is no reason to have to have the Cult as the target.

Now there's sense That's worth reading, yes you are right. It is annoying at times when there's no currently accessible way to get scientific data based on its rarity.The cultists did have an interesting introduction to when they were first made, but you are kind of right in a sense that they should have more to them than that.

UN| dint try to rp, they try to troll.
They come close to our goup, we let them stick aroud becouse we were busy with cultist Carrier, we had small group in system, only 2 Mortar snipers, but what did UN| then do ? They aproach NPC Carrier for thise to open Fire on as and then they flee, while we sufer considerable damage . We warn them to stay away, but they do that once more. On third such atempt we attack them. What you expect after such troling, red carpet and gold medal?
And what you want with this crying in forum now, trial by forum or pity?



To @sindroms, dont get discuraged, it is great event, who dont like it, to bad, but you cant please all discovery diferent tastes.

It is funny you're claiming we know what you were doing in the time we were still gathering the force to kill a Carrier. We only know what we saw. 2 UN cruiser saying that they want to help us while they cruise at the NPCs and triggering them at us 2 times. It seemed you knew we would not be fond of the behavior youd show us since you were staying away from our gun range. We told you not to do so 'RP-wise' but you did it another time, cruising away from us again after you did this.
Please tell us how we should interpret this, if not as 'trolling' or some soet of plan to wipe us? I can only say again: It were your actions that lead us to do so. It was not our intention to have to deal with OP-ish NPC triggering players or to kill people who wanted to RP? Oh god how many times have I let hostile vessels jump with me out of uncharted when we wanted to leave?

I went next to one of the Cultist Carriers once that was it and it was the one furthest away because yes I was trying to trigger it to see if it moved because after the first attempt to interact with you and offered a proposal to you I got a little frustrated purely because the attitude in response we received when we was willing to RP and help you kill the Cultist Carrier. So my first time going near the cultist carrier I tried to trigger it to chase you yes your right that was when I tried to leave, I have no idea who went near the 2nd carrier for the first two times but it sure in hell wasn't me.

We came to the area to RP with you guys but the response we got was go away now or be killed we have 2 turtle, 1 elbe, 1 labc and a FL ID sabre who is willing to CD spam you to death so we can EK and cruise on you and rekt you in 15 seconds because we want your stuff and to laugh in your face. You ruined my first experience back in disco after 6 weeks and this event in it self.

reviewing this post the reason for the recent drama and issue really were the much to op npcs which require a huge fleet and bug exploiting to deal with. Having weaker NPCs would make it more beneficial for independent players and factions without huge capital ships. Such as the UN.

i had a thought about that. and a few other thoughts. best i could come up with is that a large swarm of fighters that could be killed relatively easy for smallcraft should yield only 2 sci data per ship. It should make it harder to kill them for fast maneuverability but weak hull with decent firepower to snubs. That makes it difficult for capital ships to hit, but easier for snubs since they're at eye level.

edit: The event was a success. Just that player influence knocked it a long way around the bad side and needs straightening.

We didn't even know you had loot. You might have mistaken our'stay away from the NPC' with 'stay away from us'. Our RP truly lacked words since we were focused shooting the NPC. We have mistaken your actions with the intend to troll us. Then let us agree on that on both sides were made mistakes. There's no point in drama anymore.
