Huh? It works? Well, it seems so. My name is Astero Solar, doughter of Akeno Solar and Rock Solar. Quite strange names, right? My family has always been pretty original. So... Let me tell about myself? I'm hoverbike racer. I've been doing this since I was a kid. I started with a rusty hoverbike belonged to my father:

Model "Lavinia" may has a more exotic optic than the other hoverbikes, but benefits from its design in terms of manouverability and acceleration. Named after Lavinia Green, a professional racer.
It cost me a lot. I worked all day and night for the sake of earning enough money for this. And now ... It's just gorgeous. It goes along the road is just perfect and the bike reacts to every movement of the steering wheel! By the way... The biggest race in my life is coming. Jackpot is two hundred million! With this sum, I can finally support my family and build a normal home...
I spend every day on the track, train my skills. I hope that I can take at least some place. Today was a hard day. First work, then train. I need a rest. The end of the first day.

Day two

Ahoy there? Keeping a diary really helps to put together thoughts. Guess what? One of the leaders of the upcoming race was in an accident. Now he is in a hospital in a coma. Doctors are fighting for his life. I have to admit... It frightens me. There are rumors that it was a mechanic's mistake.... Maybe someone hired him? Or even... Something? Strange things are happening now. Damn, when will this headache go? But I can not stop training. I'm doing this for my little sister. For my family.
Gallic invasion is pretty close to us. I heard rumors that a few Gallicis gunboats were seen here, in Cortez. My friends are sure, that it is a stupid lie. Who knows, who knows. I'm going to buy tickets to planet Manhattan for my family. They don't want to leave our home, but they have to. I will stay here. There are good news too. For example, I met two news participants. who decided to join us.
And, guess what, who was there? Damn order pilot. It's rumors too, but... What the Order forgot there? Is this related to the incident with leader of this race? So many questions and so few answers.

Bought a personal laser-pistol for personal using. Tried to use it on shooting range, but it was... It was horribly. I have to take some extra-lessons such as "How to kill your enemy and don't kill yourself."

Day three

Only three days remain before the first stage of the race. Am I worried? Okay. I worry very much. I bought tickets for my family. Tomorrow they will arive to planet Manhattan. I hope, that everything will be fine with them. This route is so dangerous now. Damn, rogues. I told with officer from Liberty Navy. He said, that they will escort this transport ship to the planet. Another hard workout. Took the cool photo with the part of the track. Here it is:

And I found one interesting thing. Attachment #03 with wounded body of the racer in clinic disappeared. Went to shooting range. One of the mentors was kind enought to give me some basic lessons with guns. Now I can protect myself. It cheers me up. I think, that I have to go to a bar and relax a bit with glass of good whiskey. Wish me a good luck. The end of the third day, Astero is out.

Oh, just look at this. She has a diary.
Well. I think, that you aren't interested in my name. And I'm sure, that I don't want to tell it for you. I guess, that you want to know more about the fate of Astero, don't you?
She's in a coma.
The defeat in the race broke her. Apparently, she really trained for a long time to win. And, as a result, she is near to last position.
Why? I don't know. She doesn't know too.
I saw her after this event. She was completely broken and crushed. In this day... it was raining heavily. A real downpour. I tried to talk with her, but she ignored me. And, actually, I can understand why. She sat down on her hoverbike and left the track.
The next morning I found out that she had an accident. She crashed into a heavy transport. Now she is in a deep and stable coma. The doctors managed to stabilize her condition. But to wake her up... It's beyond their power.
I'm wondering why she lost? What did she do wrong?
It doesn't matter anymore. Her family is now on the planet Manhattan. Their journey was successful. We told them that Astero won and sent some millions credits. I do not want to hurt them. A sweet lie is better than a terrible truth.
I'm sorry.
Astero is out.
