Well we have the wreck of freeport 4 a former liberty navy base so in theory any information about these systems could be recovered from hard drives aboard the wreckage of that station.

I doubt a base that was under LN colors more for gameplay reasons (to stop GRN from docking there) than anything else and was LN for a short time only had any valuable data on it to be honest.
It was an IMG base, I honestly doubt LN touched the data stored there if there was even anything real stored.
Going with "we salvaged it from a FP that was wrecked so hard with Werewolf's that there shouldn't be much more than spacedust remaining" is sort of awkward.

Just go with the rumors from Freelancers or whatnot.

Hey senpai. You know if fp4 was an img base then the original idea of salvaging the information from freeport 4 is feasible given img have a mining base in coronado.

Yes but being bombarded with heavy artillery will mean its unlikely anything survived - particularly after LN occupied it, IMG would have moved assets away.

If this event is important to you, it would be good to keep it inRP. @AlphaWolf215, who leads the BAF|, told me that the GRN don't know that there is a jumphole leading from Leeds to New London inRP, and that the real Bretonian raids of Leeds are performed via Manchester instead to keep the jumphole secret. There is also an article of the Bretonian Charter of Interstellar Law that disallows any passage through the jumphole but military in order to prevent its discovery, so this might mean something. I suggest you move the diversion event to Manchester or Newcastle (idk if the GRN know about the Dublin JH, since it's just 10K from the NL one). Or, instead make an event that focuses on discovering the New London jumphole. In the latter case I think that you should talk with @AlphaWolf215. Maybe you could employ the Mollies, too. They need activity.

What about LN ships defeated in Magellan? It's not like that system was taken without a fight. Unless LN has proof of a mission to recover sensitive data from any wrecked ships in Magellan, then the information could be reasonably considered as "compromised", and the contents would be available to the occupying force, which is Gallia. Obviously there are limitations on the amount of "Data" we would be allowed to use, as nothing that happened after the fighting in Magellan would be on any black boxes recovered, so it's not like Gallia has every secret of the LN to be used inRP when it suits us. This particular bit of intel could be the only data of any consequence recovered at all. Either way, this is shaping up to be a nice event, with a decent mix of pew, and RP.
