Mashrou' Leila is a great Lebanese pop band that deals with themes of love, tradition, sexuality, cultural issues, and not getting fucking shot because it's Lebanon. They're absolutely awesome. Other good tunes of theirs that I recommend are Fasateen and Raasük. Ch-ch-check 'em out, y'all.

Turmion Kätilöt is awesome. Good music for studying Finnish to, too, believe it or not. Some of their other stuff has more dance/disco infusions, which is great, so if you like that sort of thing (as I definitely do), go explore their material!
