Right. after giving it some thought, ive decided to cast the votes.

Yes for Joe- I know him quite well, ive spoken to him over skype, ive played with him AND against him, ive seen him RP, ive seen him handle himself in tense situations, ive also seen him as a peacemaker between me and another member of this community who has now left. He would fit into the admin position well if he is ready to take up the duties.

No for marburg- Ive only known marburg over the forums. never seen him ingame (since we play a different set of factionised chars most prolly), so cannot comment on that. I think i dont really have much to say than agree with what McNeo has stated, since those are the same thoughts i had about the situation.

No for dieter- This is a wierd case. im still not sure if it should be a yes or a no, and my mind is still juggling a yes and a no. Ive had past dealings with Dieter as part of the RM, and as part of the mandalorians when i used to be in the NovaPG, and those encounters have always been fun. however, since i do not know him apart from those instances, i cannot really comment regarding him taking up an admin post.

however, i would like to say this for all three admins. Regardless of all the Yes' and Nos they get in this thread, they need to be aware that this job is going to be rather hard and tedious, and in a way, you have a reputation to uphold, really (which i doubt you will uphold). Good luck to you three if you confine yourselves to the admin task, its definitely not going to be easy fellas.

and now, i hafta go back to making another custom hitbox.. so bai.

Really could use an 'I dunno' option, since Dieter is the only one I really know well enough to truly vote Yes or No for (and I gave him a resounding Yes). But, as frozen votes 'No' when he doesn't know someone well enough, I vote 'Yes' when I don't know someone well enough. Like I said, if you're grouping them all into one vote thread, having a dunno/abstain option for each of them would be good, since you can't just vote for one and leave the others blank.

Edit: I do worry that this might leave Dieter with less time for handling the BAF/KNF battles. :( I suppose it's a sacrifice we must all make for the good of the server.

About Jihad Joe, definitely. No reservations there. He is great in and out of the game. And his RP is next to flawless, all good dealings with him.

For Dieter I voted no, not because I disagree, but because I don't know him at all. Feel free to count my vote as an abstain.

For Marburg, I put in yes, although I don't know him too well(only on forums), his reputation is good, and from what I know of him on the forums, he's quite alright.
So, there's the vote from the little man.

Tbh I don't think Dieter really has time to be an admin, and if he will he certainly won't have time for BAF, RM and KNF all at once., so for his own good I'd say he should not try to be an admin.

Joe can do what he wants.

Marburg I don't really know, but from what I know he can be an admin yes.

For all of you who dont know Marburg aside from his forum personality, he is a real good and genuine guy, who rp's very well, has common sense and above all takes looks for feedback and adjusts his ideas based on it. I think this is one of the most important traits in being an admin, being able to change your ideas as information and issues change. I have every confidence in Marburg as an Admin, but that only matters if my opinion counts for anything your mind.

Marburg is a nice fella and I like him as a person. He is a good gamer, rolpleayer and all that...

But he really disappointed me as a moderator. I wont name exact cases as there are numerous and it seems most people favor the way he deals with things. So i guess i can only wish him good luck and hope he will behave more responsively.

I've had forum and in-game experience with both Dieter and Jihad, and those were favorable. I've never had experience with Marburg other than watching what he does in the forum, but it appears to be accpetable to me as well.

The key thing here is that these gentlemen are willing to do what it takes on a voluntary basis to help with our server and game - and that in and of itself says it, it's OUR game. We're the ones that control our own future with it
