You might be the best battleship pilot ever, but if a couple of bombers gang you and you have no fighter support, you're still screwed. Which is why I like fighters and bombers.

Most of my chars are VHF and bombers. I don't like bigger ships because those are too slow in battles and those die the first.

Meh, I fly a Sabre when I'm looking to kill someone, a Libby when I'm out to annoy. Depends on the situation, really. I have a bunch of bombers that I sometimes use, and I've gotten a number of kills on them.

There really should be an "all" option.

Well... there's a lot more fighter pilots out there than I expected...

Dunno if it's due to location or what, but almost every time I get into any sort of pvp it involves capships and bombers, very few fighters.

Looks like bombers are in a close second though, and battleships seem to be about as common as gunboats as far as capships go... while almost nobody flies cruisers =P

Not much difference IMO. Battlecruisers can still use battleship weapons on some hardpoints, and most players aim for them because they're quite similar in stats to a battleship without having to pay for the 250 mil extra battleship license.
