Will the carrier ever be available too?

Due to an agreement the SCRA have with the Developers on ship numbers (specifically how many Carriers can exist ingame) the Tempest Carrier will not be available to the public as that would break the agreement that is in place with the dev team.

So in short. Nope.

In any event there's no harm in folks having the Cruiser, it's already been nerfed into the ground by the balance team. XD

I actually expected a ZoI restriction to Cruisers similar to Order indie ID simply due RP logics already. An indie Coalition Typhoon roaming around in Colo/NY/etc. by itself is weird. Couldn't a ZoI for Cruisers with an extra line like: "Can attack in Cruisers outside the ZoI when assisting a SCRA Operation or self-defense" ?
Just a thought...

Civilian Carrier is a joke of a ship, only good for RP, in Combat it sucks against just about anything!

Civilian Carrier is a utility ship, not a combat one. It's also technically not a cap but a transport.

People like this are the reason I really don't like this change. It takes away uniqueness and promotes the wrong kind of activity and contributes 0 to the RP environment. SCRA has enough complaints about being a pvpwhore faction and what not.

I do not like this change, and reading the replies here going "Lol on the way to NY" or "Time to make indie faction for cruising whoring". Whoever approved this should rethink it. I do not like this, I do not support this, even as Official SCRA| member I do not.

This is a terrible Idea and only eats at the few potential recruits we get for the unique ships we have.
