Resetting the router is not an option, I reset the network adapter and reinstalled everything with rebooting after every change but I'm still getting kicked.

Still playing on Obuntu?

I would try to setup a VM and try to run Freelancer on it, just to check if it's actually Obuntu that prevents you from joining.

Have you installed any program since last successful connection?

I remember RivaTuner making me unable to play Paladins, so maybe something similar might be happening on your end?

Nope, I don't install anything on Windows, I have a pmuch clean system with Freelancer, RTSS, Steam and LawBreakers installed, nothing else.

I reinstalled it like four times already and it still disconnects. I can reinstall Windows but i'd rather not do that as it would most likely mess up my Linux partition as well.

Can you try doing a system restore back to whatever time your game worked?
