I'm getting solid lag for a week now. NPCs are jerking around me. I get blinking yellow if I try doing anything fancy and red if I go about fighting other people. On Sunday, during the Rheinland event it was impractical. Text messages were taking some full ten seconds to get through and anything related to PvP was out of the question. I've contacted my ISP and everything seems fine this end.

I've played TF2 these days in various servers and it also was about alright (I forgot to try an European server).

"tracert" didn't tell me much. It looks okay from what I can see. Just to double check, I did a little "ping routing" as well, as Martin have suggested, and still it looks about right.

lost all packets to the server...uhh (last ping)

-----------------------------------------

Anyway last week (or more precisely 4 days), I'm getting a LOT of lag as well. Never have been getting much before.

My ping stays now at 51min 58 max out of 50. No packets lost. Even with that I get lag sometimes.

Yesterday during the event my ping was 122 min 124 max out of 50, no packets lost. (don't know why it was 120 and not 50). But still this should not cause any lag.

Yet I had solid red with like 2 min delay on any action. Solid yellow while not fighting.

I know at least 2 other people with same problems, all from different parts of the world, so I can only guess it's either the ISP/connection in Prague, or the server itself.

I'm considering the server doesn't accept pings.

It does... I get all back nicely. Still doesn't explain why it's suddenly more laggy for a lot of people from different locations.

Yup

same here. My ping varies between 170 and 200 normally, but always has, and in last week, red and yellow lag has been brutal. "Text" lag is obvious and visual and seems to often be a second or more return.

And now i keep on crashing and getting complete red flashes with 1 yellow flash.

and now sometimes the server won't appear in the server list.

I dread the red flash so much, it pretty much means the server's going to crash. Especially when I'm trading, because I end up having to start the entire route again. So much time wasted.

Anything I say is not intended as offensive, and to try and deliberately misinterpret it as such would be an attempt at trolling via misrepresentation.

It's not a conspiracy, it's localised bias. They're not intelligent enough to form a conspiracy.

I too have been receiving alot of Lag issues. IT started 6 days ago when i was training my wingman. I have changed nothing to my computer in the last 6 days.

My ping ranges from 153-1200

But what happen 6 days ago that could start this event?

Really need some answers i can't hold my operations in this continual ION Storm......
