You can fly the Rheinland Gunboat on Rheinland Police, Rheinland Military and Militärnachrichtendienst (MND) ID as indie without repercussions. However, you have to act as a representant of the specific NPC faction, meaning you can't just take your Rheinland Gunboat to Manhattan and shoot Libertonians, since the Liberty-Rheinland war is over.

You can technically use the Rheinland Gunboat on some other IDs, but this is a roleplay server and a Freelancer doesn't just get a Rheinland Gunboat. You don't walk up to the next military shop and order a tank and just have it.

Alittle question regarding the rheinland gunboat. How do i get to fly one ??? lol is this ship restricted to ony being allowed if I get permission from the player faction ?? I just had to delete a new character because i got fined 500K for flying one. I was trying to go get an id for it . ong story, my screwup, i started a char, restarted as rhineland police, so as to get a gunboat, decided that i wanted it to be able to leave rhienland space so i did a restart to alg, but after buying the gunboat, i didn't play it, was still building up my first character, a serenity . I got my first char all decked out and pimped up, found a decent steady cargo run and went about raising cash. Seeing the event i thought i could go help out . I thought , well , a transport is no goos so i will try the gunboat out. Now i had a freelancer id at this point on the gunboat, so i jumped in and was going to try a kruger ship, as they were part of the event. OOPS, got jumped on rite away ny the police, was fined and escorted to new berlin (I thought that was were i coud get a kruger id by bribing) WRONGO !! lol. so now I have deleted the character, taking a fair loss on credits, no biggie, i got a good transport character to raise capitol. i have started a new char to redothe lost one, did a rheinland military restart. stopped there. now can I now fly the rheinland gunboat with my new military ID ? or do i need to ask permission from the player faction or join one or what ?? I am very new to this game, played the sp a few years bak, almost finished, that is it. I am really enjoying this server and game, although it is pretty quiet in rheinland, my preffered place to base from.. I now have 2 characters, one alg pilot(flys a stork) and my freelancer(flys a serenity) advice ??

You can fly the GB, safely, as a RM Indy or even as a RFP Indy without the need to ask the OF for permission.

As this is a RP Server, how would a Freelancer, realistically, have a Military Grade Vehicle?

Yesi understand the no freelancer flying it. I just got the impression it needed permission from the player faction is all. i was moving the ship to get an id. Just my disorganized way of doing it was the problem. i was thinking a gunboat escort for a house rather than the military. was kinda hoping to do one character with multiple ships wil have to rethink that. I am trying to stay in a position to play around rheinland and liberty, its a big verse, still learning he ropes as it were.. heck i got my serenity torn to shreds in a minefiels trying to map up to alask through the jump holes, lol, flew with no guns or shield or anything till i got to a safe place. was an expensive lesson, as they all are lol. thnx fer all ye time sir. I'm sure I will have more dumb questions as time goes by.. The cops who "handled" me in game were very poite and proper in their rp, that in itself was makes the game enjoable. ha ha they really didn't know what to think of my guy suppose they had a coffe and a few laughs at the "noob"

Hello I am a returning player and I seem to have made a silly mistake.

I was purchasing bribes as a Junker ID'd player not realising that some faction reps are locked. I must of purchased a dozen bribes and could not figure out why they kept resetting.

Is there a way I can claim back some credits as I have spent all my starting money trying to bribe factions so I can do their missions.

Also in my opinion it would be better if a certain faction rep is set it should not allow you to waste your money on a pointless bribe.

Hello! Unfortunately the credits you spent on bribes are lost. There isn’t a refunding system for that. It would be best just to make a new character and start from there. As for the “ certain faction rep” opinion, there has been on and off talk about that but never really found if anything was done on that. Who knows, maybe there will. The reputation system currently is a little odd indeed.

There should be a restart option to allow you to become a junker. That would save time

If you are in a position where you are eligible to do a /restart, you're already low-enough level for it to not matter.

Otherwise, just poke someone online and ask them if they can slip you a Junker ID.

I have pretty much recovered now. I have two characters, one of which which now has a Camara which I can trade with to get credits whenever I am low. I am going to save up for the Junker Gunboat so I can do higher level missions.
