To whom it may concern;

Good day, my name is Lena Atzenbruck, President of ALG.
I am sure you know why I am writing today. We have already anticipated a crisis between the Federal Republic and the Guild may happen due to conflicting interests in the Sigmas, but nobody could have foreseen such a dramatic event.
Now before I continue, and although I'm fairly certain of the answer, I must ask: You didn't actually do the attack, did you? I suspect a false flag operation.

This situation presents us with a problem, but it changes nothing about our plans to expand in "your" direction and limit the influence of the houses. We simply must move forward faster now. Needless to say, if open conflict breaks out, we cannot be supplying you within Rheinland, which makes it all the more important to create a solid base of operations that's more remote.

I hope you keep us well-informed of your plans for this crisis, you will likely not find many other friends in Rheinland.

Regards,

Magdalena Atzenbruck
President

Konnichiwa,

I believe that our policy is quite clearly indicated in this statement.

First of all, let me pay my respects to our friends. It is very important to have support from your side, especially in such a situation. In addition, we understand that you will not be able to support us, in the event of an armed conflict. This is quite obvious.

The war is bad for business and I hate to see what is happening now, but we have soap that we can do with this except that we fight to the very end for the freedom of our home.

What are our plans? We have already assured governments that we will support any investigations, but at the same time we will prepare for war, strengthening the stations, finding allies and building up the fleet. That's all we have to do.

Also, I would like to know the policy of your faction on this issue. Are you going to support us? If so, which way? I hope to hear from you soon.

To Ms Mori;

Things are happening very fast now. The potential for war is now, unfortunately, a reality. There is only so much we can do; we are officially prohibited from any sort of support towards the Guild. A press release condemning the war is the most we can do publicly.
There is still support we can give, however. Of our stations, Dortmund is obviously completely off-limits for you given its position, and Wuppertal is probably to far away to be of any assistance. Neu Augsburg however, might be an option. It is not yet swarming with patrols, and although not as well stocked as the other two, it is safer and offers reasonable amenities. As long as they are not pursued by the forces of the Federal Republic, your ships are welcome.

Aside from that, we are still open to trade, and any industrial supplies you may need can be delivered to the Sigmas, or, if the route proves too tightly controlled, potentially to Bruchsal for pickup. We have no interest in the Republic suffering catastrophic failure because of this, but just the same we cannot accept a strong push into the Sigmas. The status quo ante bellum functioned, and if the Republic is discouraged from future Sigma adventures, that would be ideal. Whatever the outcome, it is crucial that they do not encroach on Sigma-21. That system may be the best chance we have at a strong Sigma-Omicrons strongpoint.

You do have allies, you have the Bundschuh and their currently strongest movement, DWR, you may have support from the Order, and you have us. We are limited to operating under the obvious limits of a major company within the Republic, but that hasn't deterred us from pursuing our interests so far and it won't in this situation.

Regards,

Magdalena Atzenbruck
