I have a question to the CoF mainly because I really lack information on how to judge this project of peacemaking between Core and CoF. Likely the Core can also answer it, yet I am sure that worried Zoners would believe a CoF answer a lot more.

1. Who will be administrating this Carthage modular installation?
   
2. Who guarantees that it will not be the Core who trim their guns on everybody in the system they do not like?
   
3. Who guarantees that this station - when controlled by Core - does not effectively become a Core checkpoint?
   

I know not to trust the Core. No Zoner should.
However, I also want peace to be restored.

Yet, if the Core controlls this installation, I fear we sacrifice too much: We have fled oppression of the Houses, by laws and law enforcement. So I find it hard to accept that we allow the Core (after what they did to us) to install something that could be a checkpoint with powerful automatic gun systems next to our Freeport.

By allowing this, we basically hand over the control of "who can be a guest of the Zoners" to the Core and - if it were like that - this would not be a step I could support.

I would be glad if this point could be clarified quickly.

My name is Diana Starr, I am a veteran of the last Omicrons conflict. To those that think it is fine to invite the Core to our homes, you are spitting on the graves of those lost in the conflict. Do you not remember when they vowed to annihilate our stations, to drive us from our homes in the Omicrons?

An update for all those warmongers here,

the combined forces of Zoners and Core have managed to repell a big nomad fleet heading for Freeport 11 while you were busy trying to re-ignite the war you started. Right now, Core, Auxesia and Zoners are patroling the freeport to keep Omicron Delta safe.

The Order wasn't seen with a single ship in the meantime. Not a single Order ship came to help fighting the Nomads.

First i would like to address you Diana Starr.

You use the term "True Zoner's" yet your statement is more A akin to a soldier, something "True Zoner's" Are not. Alot of Those Zoners who have unfortunately lost their lives during the conflict were not even fighting in the conflict because they were "True Zoners" keeping out of combat and hoping diplomacy would win through.

Any TRUE ZONER knows that our way is a way of diplomacy and neutrality, all the time we were defending we were trying to be diplomatic but we continued to fight because we had to.
I've said it before that its not because we forget the actions and words of the Core but because the memory is raw in our minds, we are not soldiers we are not a military, we did what we must because we had to stop the needless loss of life. You honestly think those who have been lost would rather we keep on fighting? No they would rather we settle things in order to safeguard more lives.
The Core were the ones to seek peace, and they have done nothing to change our place in Delta, Freeport 11 is still the home of Many Zoner's its still operated by a Zoner Administrator, so these threats for ousting us out of our homes was nothing but threats from the warmongering predecessors to the current Guild Mistress.
So yes "True Zoners" will remember this, they will remember this was the right decision to make for the greater good.
And the order? your right they came to our Aid, but that Aid dwindled and yet the Core still came, then before even the peace was made, we were attacked by a refreshed nomad menace, but it wasn't the Order who came, it was the Core, like it or not the Core, not the Order are the power in Delta and they offered peace and a chance to re-stabilise the system, what have the Order done? nothing but threats on us and our people.
So do not throw the term "True Zoner" until you know what it means to be one.


Now to you Miss Hunt.

Point 1: The Carthage Modular Station is a joint operation between the Core and we Zoners, the station itself will be run and maintained by Freeport 11 as an extension with the Core over seeing its operations.

Point 2: Im unsure about this question however the system itself will return to i presume the case where Core and the Order will flex to see whos in control but as with the peace agreement we accept the Core to be the main power in the system. In regards to the Carthage as long as you are not a full on enemy of the Core there should be no issues

Point 3: As per the peace treaty no one faction will have out right control of Carthage.

I appreciate your concerns as they are ones shared during the Peace talks however the Core have given us little reason Thus far despite their history to distrust them. As i say the station will be controlled jointly however your fears are warrented and is something i will bring up with the rest of the Confederation and to be discussed with the Core themselves so more clarity can be had.

News!

The Order just attacked Freeport 11 and Port Catharge, openly engaging Zoner, CoF and IRG in the No-Fire-Zone. While the first line of defenses - Zoner capitals of all sizes - fell very quickly due to the surprise attack of the Order, encircling the Freeport and attacking us from all sides, a few minutes later the combined efforts of IRG and the Core relocated two Order Osirises to an unknown point in Sirius while the Core fleet took care of the other six Order Battleships. Port Catharge has taken minimal damage and the repairs have started already, Freeport 11 itself was mostly unharmed and the defending Zoner assets can be towed to Livadia in no time.

I want to add that the Core didn't lose a single warship during the fight due to their incredible fleet management. It was one of the most inspiring things I've ever seen so far. This was a perfect example of how the Order treats their former allies, without a blink opening fire at them, reckless like beasts. The Core however came to the rescue, not only when the Nomads attacked, but also when the Order tried to harm us.

This day will not be forgotten.
