I was waiting for the other shoe to drop on this. I was never a fan that Kusari managed to get their tiny little VHF back by strapping a few extra spikes to it, but everyone wanted it rather than a fixed Raijin.

Something is wrong with its hitbox as only direct hits to the cockpit seem to count and its stats are propably too high for its general size of a model.

It would be fine if it was more in line with Tachi and something done to the hitbox.

If there are hitbox issues, I would advise folks to shelf their Wyverns until it has been fixed. That'd be the honorable thing to do, anyway. Maybe if its size was scaled up just a hair, say, 10-15%?

I'm not sure why you guys insist so much on how tiny that thing is supposed to be.
There is not a huge difference with Guardian.
The stats themselves are not that epic either. Guardian rate turn... Weak hull...

Still it could use a tiny upscale, as stated several times in the past.

Probably the main thing right now would be to get the hitbox straightened out. After that, we can see how it really does in combat.

Well since you're using a guardian for a comparison;

Silhouettes may look close when comparing it to the guardian, yes, but in fact the guardian is much thicker and clunkier. The guardian has much thicker wings and much more weight in the back. So it's actually closer to a chimmie as far as shape and dimensions go than to a guardian's dimensions or volume.

So imo, the same thing should be portrayed in the stats as well. There's no reason for it to have stats similar to the guardian if you're taking it's shape as a basis. It should be balanced like the rest of the "small" VHFs. Less hull, more agility and the appropriate powercore.

It kinda reminds me of the old chimmie.

The only difference between a Wyvern and a Chimaera is the longer wingspan, and the spikes at the bottom. Both of which do not significantly increase your chance of hitting it, especially considering where the crosshair sits, and there's nothing wrong with the crosshair.

The stats are not a problem by itself, but It is coupled with the size. Also, about the broken hitbox, did anyone run tests on the shield bubble as well?

This guy right here has the truth of it. Volume is everything, especially near the ass end of the ship. The Guardian and even the Wraith have significantly fatter arses than the Kusari VHFs, and that's where a good 65% of your shots are going to be heading towards due to the way FL works.

I mean thanks for reporting the broken hitbox and all, we'll prioritize it ASAP, but I still think it was a terrible mistake more or less reintroducing the Chimera as a VHF.
