Well my probation period has been over for more than a month now.

Not even counting that I was originally told it was 3 months, and then they just extended posting rights of probated people after 3 months because they couldnt find any dirt.

But it's not like ground breaking positive developments such as me becoming moderator were really to be expected here anyway.

No, because it doesnt say anywhere that probated people need to make a player request after the time expires. Do they? The only thing I couldnt do while on probation was use the shout box, so I didnt care much.

You do need to remind them via player request. You can't really be angry about having probation status yet doing zero about ending it.

No, you usually don't need to do a request for such cases, but you can as you basically reach all admins with this. Just poking an admin is also sufficient though.
