Dross,

I don't know how this went past the radar of all the fricking gearheads on Pacifica. I guess they all got their behinds so far up the clouds, dreaming of landing the big hit and getting their dirty fingers all over some warship husk that they forgot that sometimes someone else needs their expertise and drydocks every once in a while.

But - and oh I hope you like that 'but' - I just happened to see this arriving in my 'super important stuff' neuralnet folder. Because of course it would go there, with you making your request to the best of those damn shipbuilders out there. Now I'm sure you didn't expect me to reach out to you, but this is like half of the cool crap I signed up for! And I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to help you just fine. Of course that's going to require some groundwork from your side.

Before we even can get on with the real meat of this I'm going to need to take a good look at the ship and it's engine compartement myself, from the inside as well as the outside, so I know what the hell I'll have to work with. It'll be a pain in the butt but I think some time, a spacesuit and a quiet location to park the beauty in will be enough for that.

When we're done with that I can begin planning out the retrofit and also maybe throw that list of materials you wanted your way. But eventually, what we'll really need is some drydock time. That's where you'll need to go flex your muscles I guess. You know how moronic the Chort's Forge boys can be about their own little projects and blocking all the retrofitting capacities with some dumb modification projects to boost their egos. But I also know that you know your way around getting your will. So, I don't know, you do you, go pop some heads I guess. Just get me that drydock slot for when the time comes.

Oh, and if this goes through all nice and fine, we're going to have to talk about that reward again. Like, one week of drinks? Bugger off, that's way too short.
