Why are people complaining about this with the assumption that the story devs would let any of this be represented ingame or inrp.

The faction can talk about how great it is all they want, apparently people assume the word/opinion/rp of the representing faction has literally any impact - especially when it opposes the corsairs

Yeah, really at the end of the day mostly all I care about is meeting the standards and specifications set by the story team. Roleplay/lore-wise, I'm really happy where The Core is. But there's always room for extra polish.

Amazing fight. Truly. The best fight I've had in months. Perfect result in the end. When CDs stopped working I thought I was done for! As the fight went on longer (Beta-1 here) my pins and needles got so bad I couldn't land hits anymore! Perfect!

That was really fun! To be honest, personally, I wouldn't have been upset about it if the cruiser started trying to fend me off after killing one of yours - but you didn't do that, and instead went above and beyond with sportsmanship. Kudos for that.
