Yes. Like, Let's say 5th| Fleet can only organize siege on their own behalf, while 3rd Fleet on their own. In the meantime, indies have to find a place where they can post forum RP as per rules, so they are "accounted" for so that we don't have anonymous-no-forum-RP-POB-hunting-squads after one of their friends posts as OC indie on behalf of two other factions that don't even respond in time for siege. ( Looking at certain veteran and his or her lol-squad mopping poor Core 1 POBs around the place )

I assumed this was already the case, or so I was told. [RHA] has always been sure to contact it's allies that it looks to involve in the said siege prior to the siege itself. Allies respond, siege dec goes up with them included. Depending on the IFF of the base and it's location the RP varies based on who does the recon of the base. Ex: Sair pob in 49 a while back was scouted out by the SCRA, reported to the RHA, RHA agreed to use military force.

Reutlingen was scouted/ID'd by RHA, contacted SCRA for military support and the siege dec went up with both.

Including allied factions without any linked RP is already a sanctionable offense.

Well, its really rare me and Snak agreeing in something, so to keep the status quo, ill go further.

I really think the RP needed to siege (and usually when Wesker is involved, kill) a pob should be comparable to the RP required to make it.

That would demand (at least) 3 changes (i think):

- Req of at least a minimum RP for making Core 1 pobs around (ie: those random weekend pobs in mining fields would need at least some RP before existing too Smile )
-Some RP requirement before achieving Core 2 (atm theres none).
-The drastical increase in RP required prior to sieges of high core pobs (while that would not be a problem to *my problem* (ie RHA pob-killing squad) as they already proved can RP very nicely) That would be a nice addition in the overall server RP activity and would "force" some ppl to actually RP, at least a little.


Also if one take into consideration the amount of RP required to achieve a Core 4, many sieges would generate more RP than some "wars" around.

RP for Core 2?

Is the base's continuing function not enough for it to make Core 2? RP around a Core 1 makes it more appetizing to certain players to knock over whilst it's still Core 1, just to make its builder sad.

Core 2 is that happy medium. A Core 1 is a temp "gonna die anyway probably" base, but a Core 2 means that the building crew intends to invest effort.

Exo i lost count of how many unshielded illegal core1 pobs ive keld as law Disco around, ppl actually make "weekend pobs" inside mining fields... make em lil tougher to keel, som rp requirement, and attack notice w more time before siege.

Better than nosense that those pobs are nowadays....

Anyway, just my opinion, as ive been on both sides of such **** i see better demanding some effort from ppl willing put pobs on.

Cant be bothered w that? Buy pob already ready then.

why not just have a slightly harder specific requirement regarding some locations like say the mining fields? use the RP requirement as a means to distinguish the random-weekend-because-we-could-pob's from those that have an actual planned future and Investment, this would (hopefully) make the idea a little more appealing to merchants and traders and possibly generate more RP where there might normally be very little or none at all... all though it might be slightly more of a hassle at the same time.
