None of them, that's bad too. People don't play the game, and the server sheds 80% of its players.
If RP > Activity, then you might find it better to RP with yourself by writing a book and calling up Penguin to see if they'll publish it. There's no need to be an official faction to do that.

McNeo, you've been gone for several years. I get it. But things have changed, the way we do things on Discovery has changed, and if you can't change along with it, that's not *our* problem.
If activity for activity's sake is what you're after, then I suggest you find another server. as this one is clearly stated as being an RP server. Oh. Wait. All the non-RP ones are gone
Maybe the fact that people emphasize RP over moronic lolraids is the reason this server is still around to this day. Hmm.

Before I say anything else that I want to be very, very clear that no 20 minute abusive tirade from me occurred at all. I did overreact because yes, I was pretty upset that we took the time out of our day to fly up to Alpha and see what's what, and when I dropped the player list logs in the chat we were essentially told, "this isn't interesting enough to log for" without having ever interacted with those characters, or knowing the people behind them. I felt invalidated, and wronged, and I did lose my temper. I did not go off on anyone for twenty minutes.
It's my personal opinion that I don't think we're at a population level where we can pick or choose what kind of interactions we deem acceptable when that activity is well meaning and within the scope of the rules. None of us had this idea of "hey, let's roll up to Alpha and stomp the 'sairs." It was "hey, let's roll up to Alpha and see what happens."
That said I don't think it's not worth the flame war on the forums, either, looking at you, @McNeo. The server not being able to choose what kind of activity it can afford goes hand in hand with not tearing each other's throats out, and I fucked up for not apologizing sooner when I was angry for under an hour or two. What I'd prefer to see, and encourage, would be that people on both sides log and try to make interactions enjoyable rather than making assumptions about either side. Drawing up stereotypes about "This won't be a meaningful interaction because reason X" or "Let's not bother going to Alpha/Beta/19 because the Outcasts won't log" are both equally detrimental attitudes. At the end of the day, all I want is for myself - and for others - to be given a chance, and for people to choose possibility even with the chance of a bad experience, over impossibility, because the latter can't lead to anything at all.
Is there any chance that we could give that a shot, before assuming the worst about all parties involved?
Could someone explain the exact situation and the general problem about it? From reading this without knowing the context, it looks like Corsairs moved to Alpha and AD| logged off because they weren't in the mood of dealing with that. Which doesn't really sound like an issue to me.
