Standard pvp event.

Outcome: The Hessians will manage to punch past the initial response force in a desperate retreat to New Beijing (Omega-55) undamaged if they managed a victory, followed by a much more significant Core response force to meet them there - unveiling an even larger battle next weekend. Should the Core manage to succeed, the Hessians will pass through Hel (Omega-58) in fewer numbers with the possibility of a small snub pewpew event during the week.

Followup: A large Core response force will greet the Hessian forces in Omega-55, however, reinforcements from the Coalition installation and potentially the Order will meet up with them. All the while, the Corsair Empire - taking notice of the front - may possibly dispatch its own fleet to combat its foes.

Prologue

With the collapse of the Omicron Theta anomaly connection to Omega-41 and Omega-55, the Red Hessian Army presence within the system has been cut off from outside support. The vast darkmatter storms of Hel (Omega-58) and the elusive Core presence make both fluent and frequent transportation of supplies impossible. However, Generalmajor Heinrich has delayed the retreat of this fleet into the Omegas for a purpose that has yet to be revealed publicly - operation RAGNAROK. Making use of what may be the Army's final major presence in the system for some time, the Oberkommando of the S.O.A has ordered the research divisions to gather what ruins, relics, and data they can on the draugr (nomads) before the immediate evacuation through Hel. In an effort to ensure the plan goes accordingly and secure the research data from Planet Pygar, the Generalmajor has dispatched a squadron of her personal combatants to meet up with the Theta fleet and escort the delicate research back to New Beijing. In the midst of all this however, the Core presence within the Hel system has remained unknown to the S.O.A, and the Generalmajor's assets were spotted evading dark matter storms in a rush towards Omicron Theta. Suspicious of their actions, the Core has deployed a response force to "greet" the Hessian vessels headed towards Pygar - only to come face to face with a much larger force than anticipated.

The desperate escape

Being a large area of nomad research, Pygar has served the S.O.A's agenda to a great extent, however the Core is equally as interested in the collection of nomadic materials. In conflict of each other due to the Core's unwanted presence in the Omegas, cooperation with it's arch-rival - Daumann, and it's in-bed attitude towards the Rheinland Government. The Core stands a nuisance to the Hessian agenda, one that has never met any possibility of being put to rest with peace, but rather with blood and flames. Confident in a series of new, loyal, and well trained pilots; Heinrich has deployed one in particular to the field to demonstrate her resolve - Halldóra Liefsdóttir.
