But let's take things from the beginning. All Lane Hacker operatives, from the most lowly Initiate to even Moriarty Himself faithfully follow our operational regulations. Any and every operation in Bretonia is conducted with utmost deference to Gaian Guard. No matter how lowly the GG pilot is, we will faithfully execute his orders and respect your supremacy in your House. Similarly we expect the same level of respect in our territory. So when a Corsair transport bearing the GG transponder enters our space it is natural to raise a few eyebrows. Especially when it does not carry the official GG Identification as it should have.

So when a Lane Hacker operative asks the unidentifiable Corsair transport to stop for questioning, it will stop even more so when this request is made by a sitting Professor. Repeatedly ignoring all warnings and going on your merry way is extremely inadvisable, my friends, the fact that Sequoia was simply damaged but not destroyed shows that such acts of disrespect are not valued but we also wish to avoid direct escalation. Such as the one you are exhibiting here.

The Lane Hackers is one of the few organizations in Sirius which values and keeps in such high regard your eco-struggle and ideas. We still do. But we expect your men to obey our commands just like we would do in a similar case. We only ask the obvious.

Please take the next few days and consider if we are worthy of this partnership. If losing one of your very few regional allies is something which will benefit your faction. Of course we also have gains from this partnership but the Gaian Guard is the one which makes tons of money by the artifact smuggling and also by steadily expanding its influence deeper into Liberty. I do not believe we had the pleasure before. My name is Caroline Ross, and I lead a small subsection of the Guard tasked with gather knowledge and acting upon it. One of our more recent visits to the system of Bering has brought to our attention a certian misunderstanding between Battlegroup Harmony and the Alster Union. Although we have learned of both parties' outlook on the situation, our very brief investigation revealed a possible lead. It would seem that Harmony is exchanging information with the Hellfire Legion. It is not a course of action we approve of, given our past with both of those groups, but we would require solid proof before acting. All we have is one side of the story, after all.

Regarding your question, the answer is yes, the Battlegroup Harmony has invited the lowest forms of life in Liberty, self-identifying as Hellfire Legion, into Bering system. The situation unfolding there is very troubling for our interests but we are slowly stepping in and taking measures. Furthermore, based on my informants' data and USI route databases I would strongly recommend Gaian smuggling ships to redirect shipments heading for Lane Hacker stations from Bering to Hudson system. Battlegroup Harmony will not be friendly to your smugglers any longer.

My apologies.

I was asked to respond to this comm, but it totally slipped my aging mind. Anyway to answer your inquiry, we have publicly declared our neutrality in this conflict yet passions are running high after the false accusations from Corin Frei. I believe Deceiver Willing was simply trying to defend the honor and integrity of our Professor and in her fervor to achieve that she committed a mistake.

We are indeed disappointed by her lack of professionalism and as a result, my superiors have already stripped her from Retaliator command and re-assigned her to another sector, away from Bering. I hope this clarifies the situation.

Regarding the Aoi infected group, I would like to thank you for the evidence. It appears they have stepped up their operations in Liberty and I would like to ask you to notify everyone in the Guard to be extra vigilant whenever an |Aoi tagged ship appears on their scanners. Just one misstep and one of our members is unwillingly infected, it can create disastrous effects for all of us.
