Why does everyone think where going to start running into 23 and start a war? Did i say i would. Yes we have interests in the system but for the mean time we will be working by the JG we built and not provoking an all out attack (would be fun but i feel its a tad bit OORP)

As i have said people are welcome to make a Escort and trader char for that reason so if they feel they want to make money without having to go and start a indie trader they have the option to do so.

It is the idea of a large company and what stimulate me. I do not want to simulate the real life, but i'll be proud to say that my characters are paid BY BMM. It gives a meaning to our characters.
Up to the Directors to decide the redistribution of profits.

The more I think about it the more i think it could be a great RP experience to be in a company and feel to be part of an economic process.

Sorry, I do not want to hijack your proposal. But, it is feasible and really stimulate the pleasure of RP with a true money incentive. How many Merc are jobless, while working for BMM could bring a regular income to a decent pilot dedicated to BMM ?

Yes my point exactly on your last bit there, with a job as an escort many unemployed mercs could have a job.
As for the part of an economic process, yes i could intergrate that into this all but as many people have said before including Xoria not many traders are going to be willing to hand over their money and some will try and get around paying.

If i could work it so money came into the Bank and i could pay wages and also have a insentive for hard work and what not i would, but as it stands (for the meen time anyway) its just going to be what it is. Maybe later on in BMM when we have the funds and members to do so we could work on that idea.

In the Civilian Line ship you also have the Arrow Interceptor. He is sold at California Minor, produced by a private Liberty company and used by the BAF. It is probably easier to purchase an Arrow than the Eagle or Griffin. All in all, it is a reasonable choice for the high ranked BMM members.

Slight mistake in the Rookie Miner rank

As a new employee to BMM you will have the choice of either Mining and Shipping or escort duties, this rank will intitle you to the use of a miner or a small transport for inter bretonian transports

Mining ship is allowed for Miner rank and not Rookie, isn't it ?

Well the arrow can hardly be used for escorting duties... with only two level 9's your cargo ships are down before you even get close to destroying the bomber (or heaven forbid a gunboat)

It could be used as a reconisance vehicle for scouting out new mining grounds thou...

I've been mining around with my BMM miner now... does anyone have any suggestions wher to mine? I found the Omega 15 best near bronholm drops are outstanding and scrap can be sold for 500$. (mining was done on a private server as BMM in O15 is a bit OORP)(and still filling up a hold takes around 10min for a 1.4M profit, where's in a freighter of the same size i could do about 3M... pretty close thou)

Is there any other place where mining can be done profitably and within RP?

Well, within RP, BMM would be mining Polymers, Hydrocarbons, Gold, Water and Oxygen. Realistically, the only money maker there would be Gold (mined by player X, shipped and sold by player Y).

Limited, surely. Beryllium cannot be mined I believe, but that could change next mod version:).

I have found a good one... Stokes mining station (and stokes asteroid field) drops are in their 10's niobium sells for 512 on stokes... so good profit, (still half as bad as the oorp location O15) but so far second best and perfectly within RP and resonably safe... (and around 4 times more profitable for the miner than the Dublin version) Perhaps we could do the bretonian Niobium Dimonds run... (dimonds sell pretty well out here too...)

i believe they have a Beryilium field in the Leeds system, north of the Magellan Jump hole, and it is possible you could try mining near where the miners ahve been placed
