Gallia had 1 free engine died Cruiser on the 2nd wave. 4th Cruiser is more than enough

So you got one free, we got one free. Subtract them and we still end up with a draw :o

Last words are for fools who have not yet said enough.

You guys should chalk this event up as a TEST run. Play like it never happened and redo the event next weekend. Now that the issues and glitches for this kinda thing are known, steps can be taken to make the next event better. Kudos to the people who put time into organizing this.

I was to busy watching College Football to play any type of game. ROLL TIDE.

Replying every single complain with a thing to everybody already know. This was a serious RP event that changed the mod storyline. In cases like this every single unfairly "courtesy fights/duel" like this very famous "Ganking" is more than justifiable. When these things happen, you have to be as more realistic as possible and this is war! there's no place and time for "balance fights" and strange tactics (like the enormous amount of Gallic kamikaze right to do as more damage as possible to those cruisers! Gallics are not Kusari!*); and do you know why? Because, finally, the community decided the story progression!

*If the player lives would have been more "precious", there could be more coordination and decent tactics. I proposed the possibility to respawn ONLY when the current wave finished.

Maybe people wanted Gallia to lose. Maybe people will support whatever they like more. Some people are in it for the fun, balance and mindless pews, but it'll never apply to everyone. When you factor in an outcome that makes a major change, of course it's going to be unbalanced.

Exactly this. If this event has been untouched, 3 cruisers at 3 waves just impulsing to NL the allied side had won. So, the community logged for the allied side and decided to let the allies win. Devs or several people who could change the outcome of the event decided to help gallia instead of letting the event's outcome decided entirely by the community.

For a better Sirius!

Not going to say anything more to an event organizer stopping his event ship 20 meters before the finish line, but the biggest Problem for Motivation on the allied side was the impossibility to get rid of novas. Making 80% of the route go through an asteroid field with the CD bug wich is common knowledge since quite some time should be avoided.

Asteroids blocked Novas too and that was advantage for Bretonian side.

It was pretty marginal. Our nova-disruption was more effective outside of the fields. Heavy CMs worked inside the field and outside, it's just that the asteroids impacted CD performance.

Not being able to select a lot of the novas also caused a lot of problems.

The event was a cool idea but as stated above by ozone it maybe should be considered a test rather then impacting story since alot happened i think that couldn't or wasnt predicted
But i think the issue is there are way more people wanting to play Bretonia/Liberty then Gallia, if this is what the events are going to be like over the coming months Gallia is going to loose regardless because players just play Bret or Lib over Gallia. So we may as well just say, Gallia looses, GG
