However, permissions to fly in Liberty might be granted to some Battleship pilots for the following reasons:
- Diplomatic purposes with the Liberty Government
- Rendezvous with bankers that are in Liberty to do a transfer
- Flying through Liberty to get to another system
- For Emergency Repairs
- Rendezvous with an Arms dealer

The concerned pilot must make a request to an officer in charge of the Navy, Liberty security force or Liberty police inc. If a pilot dares to enter Liberty Illegally, (s)he will be nullified.

Lezen Garmen stated that he will keep the policy's and reopen on a different foundation.

Northern Command

After a long investigation led by the LSF, the government has discovered some signs of major corruption within the Northern Command. The admiralty of the NC has abused the privileges that the government was giving them. Further investigations in the Admiralty offices has showed solid evidences and plans of a major conspiracy, against the Southern Alliance, violating multiple laws of the Republic.

The NC admiralty of found guilty of high treason, conspiracy and corruption. A Warrant has been put in place by the martial court to arrest these traitors. A massive operation led by the LPI Deputy Chief Matt Myers to capture those criminals is being executed at this precise moment.

Citizen are asked to report any signs of any NC admiralty members in Liberty to the government and the LPI

The government is now issuing an edict officially merging the two navies together. The northern navy as well as the Southern Alliance navy will be led by the Fleet admiral Woolsey of the actual Southern Alliance Navy. All rogues and renegade ships will be boarded or destroyed by the new navy if they refuse to obey to given orders and instructions. The Navy is now united and has all powers in the Liberty zone of influence.

Colonial President Vladimir Abelard Resigns from his Post



Today, the official sources confirmed the information, that president of the Twelve Colonies of Kobol, 53 years old Vladimir Abelard resigned from his post. It is unknown yet, what circumstances led him to this decision, nor who will be his successor on the presidental chair. Such a great change in a controversal faction, like the Colonial Remnant is, can bring many changes not only to people living in the Taus.

Vladimir Abelard (*5/17/763 A.S ) is one of the survivors, that entered known parts of Sirius in 802 A.S. Although Abelard`s history from his birth to the day, when he entered Sirius onboard one of the Colonial firestars, Pegasus, is blurred, we know, that before he became the president in 814 A.S, he maintained various vital positions in the Colonial leadership, such as diplomacy officer, ambassandor, or Quorum of Twelve member. As a successor of president Orrin Dymas, who resigned in the same year, Abelard took an essential role in many diplomatic relations, securing many important treaties for the Colonials. Under his command, the Tau 44 was colonised by the Colonial Remnant and now can be called their home.

There ain`t any official information yet about the new president, but unofficial sources confirmed, that there already are two candidates. The Colonial Remnant is ruled by the president, who stands above the Quorum of Twelve - a council of some sort. The president also has indirect control of both Colonial battlegroups. All these rights make the Colonial president one of the most fundamental persons not only in the Tau sector, but literally in whole Sirius. Many eyes are watching the Tau sector with fear and doubt. What will the new Colonial head bring to lives of common Sirian citizens? No one can say for now.
