Ooook, I may have unwittingly made myself a Discovery outlaw by the use of the word "damn"

If that is indeed a bad word, I submit myself for credit removal and, well, not do it again.
I totally agree that the proper language should be enforced, but I had no idea that the above word is included on the list.

Strange thing, tho, to have wretched pirates flying around Liberty cursing with words like "Gosh, golly gee-whiz mister LSF policeman":D

Consider this a signed confession. In no way I wish to break the rules of this server.

Saying 'damn' is technically not swearing, it's blaspheming...

Usually depends which side of the Atlantic you're on. You can always just use "@#*&* off" or is that a no no?

I generally say dam or bugger when something bad happens.

I think I read some where that RP cursing is accepted but actually abusing some one like calling some one a Mother$%*$er is not.

At least thats the impression I got.

I'd probably say it. (In group though.)

Although better to be safe than sorry and swear at the monitor rather than with your fingers.

Anything I say is not intended as offensive, and to try and deliberately misinterpret it as such would be an attempt at trolling via misrepresentation.

It's not a conspiracy, it's localised bias. They're not intelligent enough to form a conspiracy.

According to the dictionary every word is a swear word (Slight Exageration) dispite everyone uses the word Damn especialy infront of little kids. I doubt most people would count Damn as swearing as its generaly used insted of "proper" swear words so little kids don't pick them up. But as it is dependant on Admins views you shouldn't say any word which may be considered as a swear word or u could get banned.

Damn and hell are okay if used sparingly and not targeted at a person in particular, if I recall. So, "dammit" is fine, "damn you" is not so fine. I think.

Usually there is an alternative that keeps the banhammer farther away, but the above should illustrate what is... tolerable.

Well, it was something like this

=LPI=Donutmuncher1: You have been added to the wanted list!
[J]FleeingPirate: Well, excuse me while I don't give a damn, Officer.

*coughs* I should have rephrased it as "I don't give a whoopsie"
My bad.
