Getting to Alaska

Is there another way to get to the Alaska system? The jump gate is locked and i completed all the missions.

Is this for Single Player?

If so, as far as I know in Single Player, Alaska is locked after you get thru the Main Story, sorry. If you play the Discovery version though, it is open, and you can get there from NY, (Zone 21), or through Conneticuit, or Omicron Minor.
