Freelancer is crashing

Please, how to set this resolution? I can only set it to 1152x864 and below.

You have to allow it as custom resolution for the graphic card in control panel/ display settings. Your card has to allow custom resolutions though.
You should also use DVI port to connect custom resolutions are mostly only allowed for that one and not the D-SUB.

Also sometimes you need to manually write it into the perfoptions.ini file My Games/Freelancer.
